Tried the Philly cheesesteak egg roll for an appetizer, which was tasty. Sampled a Hefeweizen, one of many beers on tap, which was also excellent. Chose to build my own burger and kept it very simple with cheddar, tomatoes, lettuce and mustard. The side of chips was just ok, a little too salty and on the burnt side. Server was very personable. For me, the entrees took a little long to come out(25 – 30 mins). Will come back but not in a hurry. Seems like a good place to go with a big group to have a few drinks, socialize and sample the apps.

This is one of a very few genuine gastro pubs in Delaware County and a destination restaurant if you’re craving the best burgers in town. The macaroni, cheese and bacon egg rolls are a sure fire starter, but they’re a bit on the heavy side so one order will suffice for two or three eaters. The burgers are enormous and cooked to perfection. One caveat: If you’re a fan of hard cider on tap you won’t find any here. The beer menu is extensive.

This is probably one of the better Delco bars… however, there is never anyone there. I was in in a Saturday nite and it was dead. The food is good. The drink selection is good. However, when you have an empty dining room it makes me think something’s up. Why is it always so dead???

We decided to visit 2312 last night and turned out to be a disaster. We were meeting with some friends for some apps and drinks. The waitress Nichole was great and on top of everything. My friend felt a little ill and went into the bathroom, when approached by the bar manager and asked to leave. I was very confused by managers actions as my friend was not intoxicated and had done nothing wrong. Instead of asking my friend if he was ok or if maybe he would like to sit down and offer a water he continued to push us out the door. This was handled in such a rude manner and was extremely embarrassing for my friend and i. This manager was the biggest jerk ive ever met, i felt he was showing off to his friends. We will not be visiting this establishment again. To the manager id like to say grow up and get a life.

My husband I and visited last night and were delighted to find this gem in our area of Delaware County. The craft beer selection is amazing and the gastropub food is really good. I had the pulled pork, which was delicious. The battered fries are top. Service was friendly and the general atmosphere was cool. Not too loud for a Friday night. Looks like some nights they have quizzo and tap takeovers. There is some street parking on Garrett and around the corner, but n parking lot. In any case, I am too excited that there is a Philly-style pub in my near-neighborhood!(Delco near Lansdowne)

Generally has good food(though menu could be expanded and varied); annoying employees. Current(blond, older) waitress is not welcoming; there is really no hostess and they need one as they fill up, but they don’t take reservations. Awkwardly, tables might be «reserved» but no one would know that(you have to seat yourself) until they are told to move. This place really needs a separate party room because big groups tend to take over the seating area and regular patrons then have nowhere to go. Service can either be great or spotty(as in your food never arrives… don’t come here before a concert. You might miss it). Also, a couple of times, the server did not bring change when we paid in cash. Trust me: I am a good tipper, but not bringing my change? As in $ 10+ of change? That’s a little offensive – and weird. We liked this new bar/restaurant, but at this point I give up. A few great meals plus a few bad experiences and we don’t plan to return.

Just returned tonight after about a month and now they don’t have any specials on Quizzo night and they are charging for soda refills $ 2 a pop(pun intended). My husband ordered the chili and it made him sad. It was watery. My buddy ordered fried pickles and there were bits of fried fish in the batter.

We love the beer selection and the food is always reliable. Nice specials. Pot roast sandwich, grilled cheese and buffalo chicken egg rolls are our favorites! Great local spot.

Came here on a Wednesday night at 11:50p & they were closed. I did call before coming & no one answered but sometimes bars don’t always answer the phone so we came anyway. Please update your website to reflect current hours.

I went here to try the food because of the good ratings but it was horrible. I was the only table in the place besides a single woman reading a book, that should of been a sign. We tried the cheesesteak eggrolls which were ok but very overpriced. I had a chicken sandwich and my daughter had the chicken parm sandwich. The chicken parm sandwich was served burnt and extremely dry. The waitress took half the price off the check because of this. My chicken sandwich was so incredibly dry. Everything was overpriced also. Don’t waste your money!!!

Pretty decent neighborhood bar/restaurant food Is fairly good. However I went through a lot of trouble to park on a Saturday evening to be turned away as there was a bridal shower. Now there are two nice sized sections did they need the entire place. Oh well I’m sure it doesn’t matter to them as I’m only one person but they’ve lost me my family and a few friends as customers. They could have had a sign on the door I wouldn’t have parked and walked a block.

We come here for quizzo Monday nights, always a lot of fun! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Fries are great, lots of great snacks. French onion soup was good as well. Looking forward to trying more from the menu.

Giving this 4 solid stars. 2312 is the closest thing to a Gastropub I’ve found in Delco. We heard the burgers were great, so in the mood for a burger last night, we took the trek to Drexel Hill. Arrived 7pm and no cars outside, not a good sign to me. Went in and as usual sat at the(almost empty) bar, also a bad sign. To me. So glad we stayed. They had a nice selection of craft/draft beers. Blackboard with the description. I lean towards white Belgian wheats, and when I hesitated the bartender offered me a taste of 2 choices. Nice. He brought over a menu. One of the most interesting menus I’ve seen in awhile. I wanted everything on it. I went with the special Pulled Pork Nachos. C got the appetizer filet tips. I gotta tell ya, the filet tips were awesome! The pulled pork nachos were excellent too. Tender juicy pulled pork, lots of it, not fatty, seasoned perfectly with a mild kick. I took half home. Bartenders were personable, nice, and attentive. The bill came to $ 44 which included 2 top shelf G&T’s and a craft beer. Well worth it to us. So for $ 55 we had a excellent meal and a nice time out. By 8 it was a lot more crowded, but this place should be jumping. A lot of local walkers(not the zombie kind). And… I loved the limited menu. Everything seemed very fresh. Some local joints have a 3 page menu. How can they keep all that food fresh? Answer: they don’t. Never did get my burger. Will certainly be back for that.

This is not the Garret Ale House any more! Very good food. Great beer selection. Pot roast sandwich and the lamb burger… just great. I’m excited to go there more. Staff was excellent, feels good in there. A bit pricey for delco, but not bad at all. Ill Trade quality for few more bucks any day. Support local small business.

Went in at 6:30 on a Friday and was pleasantly surprised by the delicious food and great selection of beer. I live 2 blocks away and drive past it often, and finally decided to check it out. I suggest you do as well, try a burger and a beer!

Great neighborhood bar! The food is terrific, the staff are friendly, and they have a terrific selection of craft beers. The beer selection changes regularly which gives me an opportunity to taste other offerings. Having eaten there several times, I can say the food is excellent and there seems to always be something new on the menu. When in doubt, you cannot go wrong trying one of the 2312 burgers.

Solid neighborhood bar. We’ve been three times now and each visit has been similar. Friendly bartender and patrons, tasty burgers and good beer selection. The prices are reasonable but they do tend to run out of menu items. Each visit has included one or two items unavailable. If you’re in the area, it’s worth a visit.

Yes this is truly a GEM tucked away on Garrett Rd. that I and I am sure everyone else has driven by in their time. I admit it, I did it, I confess I am that guy to have driven by without even giving them a chance. If it wasn’t for an invite by everyones fan favorite« Unilocaler» Steven B. I would still to this day be driving by this place . Great atmosphere, a comfortable feeling as you walk in with ample seating in the dining area. The décor is placed in the perfect spots with the flat screens arranged so you can never miss a step. The juke box on the wall blends in perfectly with the bar, giving a little more added color. Then there is that beautiful list, yes the list we all know as the crafted beers on tap. Strategically placed so you can see at every vantage point what is on tap next to the fine selections of liquor for those who like that extra octane. Plus,(yes I know there is more to this fine place) the two guys behind that bar Vince and Mark are reliable, these guys interact with the patrons offering their insight on issues. That right there is a comfort, because I have been to a few bars where they just pour and walk while looking for that tip. Vince and I along with Steven were doing«Bar trivia » most taps in the delco area, or what place offers pizza and a beer in Havertown, and with out hesitation Vince calls us out on other trivia. That’s what you’ll experience, which turns you into a repeat. We are not finished, lets get into the kitchen that this bar offers, and yes I would have loved to have given this guy a high five. The presentation, flavor, to that first bite of just an explosion of flavor hitting the taste buds like a balloon to a needle types. I love food and when something just amazes you like this, words can’t be expressed, just facial expressions of joy come out. Started off with a bacon and cheese dip with toasted baguette bread sliced surrounding this lovely dish. I love bacon, now they made a dip blended with cheese that is hot, mouth watering people. simply delicious. I then furthered my adventure with the«Italiano cheese burger». This is a perfect blend of Italian sausage mixed with beef topped with cheese, along with a slice of prosciutto on top cooked to a medium. AMAZING !! The sausage blended in with every bite was like angels singing Hallelujah with harps in the back. My partner in crime Steve went with a chicken and chorizo flat bread with melted cheese. I had the honor of trying this masterpiece. this work of art, the chicken with nice cuts of chorizo, had an amazing kick to it. Flavorful, enjoyable I was torn between my excellent cheese burger that I did not want to give up, to Steve’s flat bread. Both are great, now I am wondering if these 3 items are that good, I wonder how these other meals are. With every bite I was washing it down with great crafts, from a Lancaster winter ale to now a fan favorite Pa. St. Nicholas Bock. In all this whole experience was unbelievable, great conversations, great company, great food. Thank you Steve for making me stop in to this fine establishment. Solid 4 on my end !
