Specialties

Burn Brae Day Camp is a summer camp that has many specialties for boys and girls ages 3 – 15 taught by outstanding certified teachers who are experts in their fields. Campers are exposed to multiple areas of interest. They include: robotics, computer animation, movie production, science, archery, nature, rocketry, swim instruction, musical and non-​musical theater, painting, drawing, ceramics, fashion design, dance, musical instrument instruction, jazz band, rock band, strings ensemble, pastry arts, voice, creative writing, sports, pre-​school enrichment camp, teen programs, and more. Early and late care available. Door-​to-​door transportation available. 2 – 10 week sessions (non-​consecutive weeks can be arranged).

Lisa K.

Business Owner

Lisa started Burn Brae Day Camp in 1981 and has been the Owner and Director ever since. She majored in Theater and Dance at the University of Michigan and has starred in productions in the United States and Canada and appeared in a two person off Broadway play on PBS. In the early ‘80s Lisa was the Associate Producer of Channel 17’s Dancin’ on Air. She has also taught and directed children’s theater. Lisa attended camp throughout her childhood and teenage years and continues to find enjoyment and inspiration in camp life everyday! Lisa is also the owner of Maggie, a loving Bichon/​Poodle, who is the camp mascot!
