Several months ago I had a root canal go bad and my dentist told me the tooth had to go. He referred me to Dr. Flint and I scheduled an appointment. Although Dr. Flint’s bedside manner was not the best, he isn’t super personable, you can trust that he knows his stuff. As you get to know him more he does get friendlier, but I think his work keeps him so busy that he just doesn’t feel like he has the time to chat much. The day of my oral surgery appointment I went into Dr. Flint’s Draper offices and after a brief consultation with Dr. Flint it was lights out. Thank you anesthesia. The surgery went great and my tooth was extracted without issue. I was a bit hazy after the surgery because of the anesthesia but there were no complications or problems. Dr. Flint’s staff has always been professional and very friendly towards me and I have appreciated their excellent customer service. Hopefully I won’t need to get more teeth extracted, but after this extraction I still need to get a post put in so I can eventually get a crown. I’ll be seeing Dr. Flint again in a few months and I’m confident he’ll do a great job. Months later, after allowing for my mouth to heal after the extraction I found myself back at Dr. Flint’s office to have my dental implant installed. The staff was again extremely polite, professional, and friendly. Finding my way to the surgery room I was seated, hooked up to a bunch of monitors, oxygen, and an IV and moments later it was lights out. Before I went to sleep I told Dr. Flint I’d see him on the other side. I’m a pretty funny guy… When I woke-up the surgery was done and although I wasn’t feeling awesome I was feeling pretty good. In the days that followed the recovery was easy. My dental implant procedure went well the good Doctor told me a week later at my check-up and there were no complications. I’m healing well following the procedure and there has been no extra bleeding, excessive pain, swelling or anything out of the ordinary. Dr. Flint is an excellent oral surgeon and I would definitely recommend checking him out.

Dr. Flint might seem stern and even a little scary, but once you get to know him a little he’s a really nice guy with a good sense of humor. He’s extremely knowledgeable and his staff is awesome. He did some oral surgery for me and the whole thing went really well — I was in and out in about 45 minutes, and he did a great job. His staff was really caring and called twice to followup and sent a thank-you card about a week after the surgery. I really like his office and I would definitely go back to see him again. On a side note, you know a guy is awesome when he volunteers in the Philippines every year. If you’re looking to have some oral surgery done, definitely go to Dr. Flint.
