They’re still just as awesome as when I first ordered with them years ago! Quick, painless, and available ²⁴⁄₇. Whenever I call I always get some friendly representative right away, wish I could say that when I call Kaiser! I love how they price match with other contact lens sites so I can do business with them & not Mr. No Name​.Com! They’re guarantee is wonderful. I used to occasionally wear color contacts & got some defective ones before & ones that irritated my eyes & they always sent me replacement pairs. It’s been almost a year that I’ve learned to appreciate my natural eye color & wear my clear contacts 100% of the time, so hopefully I’ll never need to take advantage of their 100% satisfaction guarantee, but it’s nice to know that it’s out there.

Great service. I’ve tried some other online contact companies, and I’ve had problems returning at those. When I’ve mistakenly ordered the wrong contacts, 1800contacts even pays for shipping back to them for an exchange. Sweet!

I have been ordering from 1−800-Contacts for years and have always been happy, but tonight they just totally exceeded my expectations.
After chatting with my eye doc I decided to purchase a more expensive brand of contacts this last order thinking they would feel better. I was wrong. They totally didn’t work for me. I bought 8 boxes (6pk of lenses) for $ 355 (this was still $ 112 cheaper than at Kaiser). I called them up to see what I could do hoping for the best.
They are sending out 8 new boxes of my old brand today with a free shipping box to return what I have left. I have 6 full and 2 half boxes left but they are even replacing the contacts I tried to wear. AND since the ones they are sending are cheaper I am also getting a refund for the price difference.

I have been using 1800Contacts for years and wanted to show my appreciation by writing this review.
Most customer service call centers will put you through an agonizing voice or number-​activated system causing wasted time. 1800Contacts will pickup directly when you call them upon your first one or two rings.
I was able to use the rest of my flex spend card to the tee and place the remainder of my bill my debit card. Two days later, my contacts are here and I am happy.
Also, the web site is a great and simple platform to navigate!

Normally I wouldn’t review a corporation and their website, but I was so impressed with my recent experience I had to. I’ve been using 1800Contacts’ website for years. It is a bit pricey, but I love the ease and convenience. They store your prescription info and contact your doctor if they need to update or renew it. They do all the work! Plus the shipping is lightning fast, and they make it super simple to track your order with e-​mails. They may not be the least expensive option out there for your optical needs, but the ease and convenience are well worth it in my opinion.
Recently I ordered contacts lenses for the first time in over a year from the website. I had moved addresses since ordering last, but forgot to update that info in my online account. I realized my mistake only after I placed the order, so I immediately went to change the address information, hoping to avoid any problems. Alas, I was not fast enough, and the contacts shipped to my old address. I contacted 1800Contacts by e-​mail — a generic e-​mail address — to let them know what had happened.
I didn’t expect much, since my past experiences with other company’s customer service has been less than stellar. So imagine my surprise when I received a personal response within just a few short hours; not only that, THEY apologized to ME for my stupid error, and re-​sent my order AT NO COST TO ME! I was floored.
That kind of customer service, from a big, wealthy corporation who wouldn’t notice if they lost one customer no less, is the kind that keeps people coming back over and over. They’ve made a loyal customer out of me, for sure — and impressed me so much I felt compelled to sing their praises from the hills of Unilocal

This place is a blessing. Especially to me since I’m blind as a bat without glasses/​contacts. My vainness pushes me to constantly go through the rituals of dealing with contacts. On the downside, contact lenses are expensive! Same with the maintenance! 1800Contacts came to the rescue for the contact part. My optometrist prescribed Acuvue Oasys lenses. I swear, these contact makers and the optometrists must have some shady deal thing going since for 5 years I wore Acuvue2’s with no issues and now all of a sudden I NEED to be prescribed Oasys which retails in at 35 bucks a box!!! GEEBUS! At 6 lenses, that’s 7 bucks a lens! Two lenses at 14 bucks, and then you wear it for 14 days and you gotta throw it away! That’s around 365 dollars a year just to wear contacts!
At first glance the website seemed overpriced and insanely expensive. The upside is that if you read all the fine print carefully you can really make it reasonably priced!
For example: you can get Oasys lenses at 25.99 a box at Costco. 8 boxes = a year, and that comes out to be $ 207.92. Once in a blue moon Costco has these nifty coupons that lets you deduct $ 20 dollars off. That comes out to be $ 23.49 a box. Not TOOO shabby. You also have to deal with going in person and giving them a prescription, waiting for your contacts to get ordered and going back for a second trip to pick them up.
Now if anything that S has taught me, is that the hassle, driving time, and actual time spent on dealing with something is worth moola. (Hence my slow conversion to online shopping!)
For once, I tried out buying my contacts online at 1800Contacts.
They have a really really COOL feature called price match! So I logged on, threw in 8 boxes of contacts and then clicked on their price match thing. You type in your phone number and a customer service reps calls you right away. Super nifty! In the google marketplace, I typed in «Acuvue Oasys» and out popped a bunch of websites with prices on their lenses. I found a decently reputable website called
selling Oasys for $ 21.74. Told the rep, and I was pricematched. (1800 sells them for 29.99 a box if you buy 8). Throw in another coupon code for 12 dollars off and free shipping, and a 30 dollar instant rebate, my total came out to be:

Basically at the end of the day: use them to price match, apply rebates, apply coupon codes that you can find online and it takes maybe 15 minutes on the phone but you save a tone of money!!! :D

Wow! I made a mistake in ordering contacts (wrong perscription +5.25 vs –5.25). I did not realize it wasn’t a faulty batch until I had opened 2 boxes and 2 individual contacts. I called today expecting to have to repurchase 2 boxes. I was pleasantly surprised when:
1. I got a live person when I called the 1800contacts.
2. They offered to replace all of my contacts, even the ones I had opened.
3. They did not charge me a dime. not even the shipping to return the contacts.
4. They were beyond nice. They offered to get them to me ASAP so I would not have to go another day with an incorrect perscription.
1800contacts knows how to deliver excellent customer service. i will be a customer for life.
