History

Established in 2003.

I worked at home sewing for family and friends and church members. I went to work for Rose Chandonnet in 2005. I bought the business from her in 2010. I have two dressing rooms and a spacious riser in front of a full-​lenght-​mirror. From «made-​to-​measure» alterations to hems for any wardrobe piece to zipper replacement to leather work, Hems Plus is a full service tailoring and alteration business. Wether it’s an entire wedding party or a single pair of pants, customers go away feeling they were treated exceptionally well and recommend Hems Plus to others.

My mother showed me how to sew at a very young age. I started making my own clothes at 10 years old and have always loved sewing. When my children were young I sewed out of my house for friends, family and church family. I worked for Rose for 5 years, who was the owner before me, then she sold it to me in 2010. I am in the Historical Mill buildings, have all old mill machines from the lowell sewing shoppes. Come and see the old mill
