I grew up in Doylestown and was always wary of going in to this store because of less than friendly employees. While planning my wedding I decided to give it another try and check out their invitations. I called a few days before to make sure there would be someone there to help me. This was my first warning: the woman was rude and impatient on the phone. Like a glutton for punishment, I forged ahead anyway. Upon entering the store, I explained that I had called inquiring about wedding invitations. The woman(Nancy) was immediately aggressive. When I explained what I was looking for, she brushed it off and said she’d never heard of it. She was incredibly inconsiderate, and flippant about my requests. I felt like I was being attacked. Thanks but no thanks, I don’t want to spend money at an establishment that cares so little about their patrons.

This used to be one of my favorite places to go — when I was 10. Really. They have cards & stickers & gifts & godiva(limited selection) and they used to carry Crabtree 7 Evelyn products back in the day. The owners may have changed — as Paper Unicorn has been a Doyletown institution for eons. But I did used to LOVE it.
