My son has had three inpatient stays at Foundations. One was in June ’14(9 weeks,) March ’15(4 weeks,) and September ’15(2+ weeks.) I understand that every hospital is different and everyone has a different experience. However, since my child has spent so much time there, I feel confidant in my review. My son has always received top quality care. He feels safe and his physical and emotional needs are always met. When I visit or speak to him, he emphatically states that while he’s rather be home, he really likes being at Foundations. There are violent children there. That is the reality of any psychiatric hospital. My son has had the same treatment team all three hospital stays and they are always very kind to him, even when he is unstable. He has been in other hospitals. There really isn’t a better inpatient psychiatric program in NJ or PA.
