Auto Express of Doylestown

This place is a total rip off place. I was trying to get my inspection done for my X5, they told me I needed some new suspension parts. Later found out, I didn’t needed. It would have been premature to replace them. $ 600. I will never go there. Not recommended.

Stopped in yesterday spoke to Nick, could not get me in for an inspection but made an appointment for the next morning.
Came in worked with Nick again, they got the oil changed and the car inspected in about 1 ½ hours which is great time.
Mr Bean if you are reading this you have a great team member in Nick. Great representative for your company.

Worst service I ever experienced. I brought my fiancé car in for a remote start. I dropped it off 9am and asked to go over types of remote start and cost etc. I was told tech was not in yet and thst he would call me as soon asap. No one called. I called at noon and I was told the tech was working on other cars and again would call ASAP. I then waited until 3pm then called again when I was told our car was just about done. I never approved or found out what was going in. I went to pick car up. I was given keys and sent on my way. I had to figure out how to use it on my own. I asked if paper work came with it. They said no. I asked what brand it was. They literally had no answer. I paid almost $ 400 for something best buy can instal for $ 125. I’ve called to complain as the car dry starts repeatedly in cold weather. All I get is a run around. Do not use this company!

Quick and professional. They offer detailed explanations for additional services required on your vehicle if needed. Good people, good service.

Oil changes consistently take over an hour even on a slow day. Will definitely be looking at other options next time.

I called to ask about getting some work don my Kia and he recommended another provider. I think there is a lot of integrity in doing that and that he was being fair and honest.

I got a flat tire last night. AAA had to send 2 people out to get the tire off my car, as it was pretty stuck on there from the pothole I had hit. Both of the technicians who came out recommended taking my car to auto express to have the tire repaired or replaced. I called this morning and they were so accommodating. I took my car in and they were able to repair the tire and they took the donut off and put the repaired tire back on my car for me. They didn’t even charge me for it! I was in and out in under 30 minutes. The shop and waiting area was super clean and comfortable. I will definitely be going back and I highly recommend them!

After a few more visits here with multiple vehicles for varying repairs/​maintenance, I won’t be back.
My average wait time for simple procedures has gone through the roof, including a 4-​hour wait for a simple part install that they quoted at «15−20 minutes» and a 3 ½ hour wait for an inspection. Granted, unexpected setbacks do occur in the midst of a repair but to not communicate this to the customer and to put them in a position to constantly have to check in with the front desk to find out what is happening is unacceptable. Constantly being told «Sorry, we had the wrong part and had to go get the right one» or «They said it’s almost done» and then sitting there for another hour until you ask them again and they tell you the same thing is just too unprofessional.
My review would have been much more forgiving had they just set reasonable expectations on time-​frame and actually updated me on the progress/​setbacks. That’s not a lot to ask and certainly not a great reason to lose my business.

I took my car to auto express for an inspection and other minor issues. I was treated with respect and explained every step of the way the status of my car and what was being done. I feel they went out of their way to accommodate me. Kudos to nick. His professionalism and knowledge has made a life time customer out of me. Thank you for all your help!

I’ve taken my cars several times to Auto Express and had good results. Today, my partner comes home from having his car inspected. The mechanic failed the vehicle for bad wiper blades and told him they were ripped. Oh yes, $ 40 to replace. Fortunately, he declined knowing that we can buy them for $ 14 elsewhere. I inspected the blades … no rips or frays. My trust has been shaken a bit … buyer beware. I’ll likely go back thinking it was just a bad day.

This place is Fist class all the way! Bill, the Manager is running a wonderful store! and I hope his company reads this! The honesty and dedication is over the top! Last 5 visits with 100% satisfaction! This is where I get all my maintenance done in Bucks County and everyone I have referred here has been completely satisfied! Keep up the great work Bill! Super fast, polite and friendly, advised me of the status of a few things without trying to sell me anything. A little pricey, but the convenience is sometimes worth it!

went to Auto Express to see about the used car i purchased last week. The prior owner said they had purchased 4 new nitrogen-​filled tires there last year. I needed air, and a tire-​valve cap, so I went over, and asked the young technician about my situation. He filled my tires with the correct amount of air-​nitrogen, and gave me a valve cap, free of charge. What a nice way to incur goodwill!

Very unhappy with these guys. Went in on October because I had gotten a coupon for a discount inspection and they advertised free courtesy rides. Dropped off the car no problem and the gentleman from the shuttle service was friendly. Even gave me a cell number to call him directly when it was time to come get my vehicle. Get a call a few hours later that my vehicle has a «damaged tire» and won’t pass inspection, guy tries to talk me into buying four new tires. Smelling a scam I tell him to not do anything more I’m coming down to see this damage. I call my mother and brother because my mother orders all our tires of
and has the records of when they had been changed earlier in the year and we head over to the place. Get to the place and we’re taken back and shown the tire has this nice clean cut in the sidewall, done just enough to show but not enough to deflate the tire at all. My mother argues with his insistence that we need to replace all the tires showing him they had just been replaced not even a full year ago but does agree to buy two new tires, with the understanding that the new tires would go on the veh, the damaged tire would be tossed and replaced with the other good but worn tire that was removed. Waited while they did the work and surprise surprise the «cheap» inspection suddenly isn’t so cheap costing me close to $ 300. I chalk it up as a life lesson (if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is) and let it go. Cue this winter and the mess local roads have become. I hit a few to many potholes and naturally blow a tire. Go to change it with my full sized spare and what do I find? That «damaged» tire these people «found» and promised to discard. Only it seems by discard they meant put in place of the full sized spare so that I’ll have to come in and pay for two again when I damage one. I’m absolutely livid about this because now my CRV is completely out of commission until I replace not only the flat, but the gashed tire that will surely blow the first time I hit a pothole with it. NEVER GOING BACK HERE AGAIN! Be warned of their shady flim flam. Use at you own risk.

Great place! New to the state and after driving cross country we needed an honest place to get the car serviced. Our first time here, we got what we needed done and we were out within the hour. The staff is friendly and your technician comes to tell you the status of your car! On occasions, your technician will also show you things (filter, oil samples and so on) before they change them. Because this place will do their checks, they will give you options and advice for services that they can do. Not once have I felt pressured to get something done and I felt they were always honest when asked a question. The staff in the front is also very kind and answer all of your questions. This facility is also clean and has a welcoming waiting area where you can read, go on the computer and or watch TV. There is also a shuttle service that I was told about but never had to use it so far. In addition, there is a 10% off for military! Will definitely take my vehicles here in the future.

They are so nice and informative, don’t try to push you for additional services when you go in for oil change. I had a problem recently and stopped in to ask them for help. They took care of it no charge before even asking if I was a customer. (Which I am!)

i was passing through doylestown to buy a bike and was early. so i decided to swing in for an oil change while i had the time.
what a great place to have your auto work done. totally friendly. everyone waiting for their cars had a comfortable place to wait. the family owner of this business was as cool and friendly as it gets. the mechanic who reviewed the fluids and work i needed done was helpful and a professional.
wish these guys were in my neighborhood. i would certainly trust them to take care of my car.
