Very quick and cheerful, attentive service. Breakfast was very good and all handled well. Would definitely recommend for singles and families.

I drove friend to jury duty today, we stopped in for coffee and bite to eat. We were the only people in there at 7:45 which was strange, we ordered 2 orders of 2 eggs over easy with toast, 1 with turkey bacon, 1 hot coffee &1 with iced coffee. eggs were ok, toast was cold & not buttered, and bill was $ 31.00 Yep $ 31.00 for 4 eggs, 3 slices of bacon, cold toast & coffee??? Check your bill too because even with only 2 people in the party they included the 15% gratuity. Never again

Decent enough with nice service near the Brooklyn bridge. Price for basic ice coffee was over priced. Hashbrowns are good with bell peppers cooked in. Nothing to write home about.

The food here was OK, but it took almost an hour to get my food. Survive was the worst I have ever had. Please go elsewhere save yourself the time.

My husband, nephews and our son came in on Sunday morning for breakfast. Wait staff was not very attentive, the food made me ill at first bite(I don’t know why their version of Turkey bacon looks like long strips of thick ham?). They mixed up our orders, took forever with silverware, napkins, the price was way too high for the quality of the food(or lack thereof). I gave my entire meal away to the boys at my table because they have stomachs of steel. I will never, ever return here. Yuck!

The service may be slow and inattentive but at least the good comes out cold. On the positive side if you just keep asking for a water eventually you’ll get one.

Food is pretty good. Pricing is fair. If you have time for a leisurely lunch it’s a good spot. The food takes a while to come out. Alex A’s service helped though, nice guy.

Lapin and I came here for a breakfast on Sunday. When we arrived we didn’t know if we were supposed wait to be seated or just grab a seat. We just ended up sitting ourselves since no one paid us any attention. We had to wave people down for a menu and water after sitting for 15 minutes and no one acknowledged us. Lapin ordered chicken and waffles and I ordered eggs, sausage(asked to be in a separate plates as I am allergic to pork and beef and Lapin wanted it) with fries. Our food took almost 45 minutes to come and everything was lukewarm. The waitress who bought our food over asked us how the food was after she saw us not eating. The main reason we were not eating was we were still waiting for silverware. They bought my eggs with the sausage all over it. After telling them 3 times about separating the sausage from my eggs. I told them to take it back and remake it. They literally brought back the same eggs and Lapin just ate it cause I didn’t want to chance it. The syrup they bought for Lapin’s waffles had a thick layer of film like it was sitting out all day. They gave me home fries instead of french fries that I ordered. I ordered white toast and was given whole wheat(and had to wait and extra 30 minutes after my eggs came out for the wrong type of toast) and was told they ran out of white toast when a patron to our left came in after we ordered and got white toast(but they apparently«ran out» when we asked…). The food was below average and was just meh. The sausage was so bad, Lapin didn’t even want to look or taste them. The chicken was a bit overdone and burnt. Now withstanding the service was poor and the food was bleh, you would think they would not try to pull a fast one… We were still eating, they bought the check and plopped it on the table. They charged us a 25% tip but didn’t write that it was tip until we asked what that charge was for. And then on the bottom of the menu in the smallest font, they wrote they charge and automatic 18% — 20% tip to each bill(where did they get 25% from??). And to top all off, the waiter overcharged us on the eggs and coffee by $ 7 dollars. He said that was the price and that was that. We asked for a menu and then pointed to the correct charge. He said he wouldn’t amend it. Frustrated I asked to speak to the manager and he laughed and said«Go ahead» like an arrogant person(he’s the guy with the tribal tattoos on his arms). The manager apologized and fixed the issue while he was laughing behind the counter. I would never ever again in my life come back here. I rather starve or beg in the street than go through this experience. I WOULDMAKETHISMYLIFEMISSIONTOALERTEVERYONETOSTAYAWAYFROMTHISSHADYRESTAURANTANDIFYOUREALLYREALLYHAVETOGO, DOUBLECHECKYOURBILL.

Service: Terrible! My mom and I stopped by the Brooklyn Bridge Café today around 11 a.m. and the waitress was horrible! She was really rude, never bothered to ask if we needed anything, and acted annoyed when I asked for utensils. Food: The sausage was gross, pancakes were dry, and the bread had a weird taste and smell. And on top of bad service and food quality, the waitress added a 15% «service fee» to our bill. When I asked her what the fee was for, she said it was a service fee and when I got my receipt, she expected a tip over the 15% she automatically added to my bill! My mom said she must have known the service sucked so she added the 15% so she would at least get that. I never leave less than 20% tip, but this time left it at the 15% she added on her own. Do not recommend this place at all!

This place has the potential to be doing a lot better than they are. I came in on Wednesday afternoon and I was immediately greeted by a friendly waiter. He gave me good recommendations but unfortunately I waited over an hour for my food and the place wasn’t busy at all. I couldn’t imagine what was taking so long. I asked to speak to the manager because I was very annoyed that it was taking this long. An obnoxious, extremely rude older women came to speak to me. Amal was her name and she truly looked like she could care less. When I asked her why it took so long she told me I could go somewhere else if I wanted to! I couldn’t believe how nasty she was to her customers. I will not be returning here. This place could take off but they definitely need to find someone more professional to be running the place.

Below average. Spent 20 $ for dry omelette and a few pieces of not fresh fruits(so called«fruit cup» 6 $). Waitress was nice and attentive though. But they do not care about food quality.

Got a mango smoothie(aka an Icee) to go. Holy moly was it super sweet. Like so sweet that it was undrinkable. It was also 5 bucks for the small. Good thing I had a seltzer also to drown out some of the sweetness. Touristy place in a prime location for those people who walked the entirety of the bridge without getting off early. ehhh.

Super convenient/easy to find if you’re just planning to walk over the bridge and(regretfully) not able to do much more exploring. Basic breakfast and lunch offerings(I had a HUGE Greek salad) and the rest of the group had equally yummy looking chili, gyro(stuffed!!), and Mr. M&P had possibly the oooiest, gooiest grilled cheese I’ve ever seen. GREAT service, clean, comfortable, and cozy spot at the«crossroads»(there are so many!!) of my favorite(there are also so many!!) cities. This is not really a «must do» place, but it’s in a great spot, and it’ll hit the spot after(or before!!) a walk over the bridge! Eat UP!

My fellow bacon enthusiasts be warned… «We only carry Turkey bacon» Sigh… Didn’t even bother trying the food, place was empty on a Saturday morning. Can’t a guy just get a solid bacon, egg and cheese sammich.

Super clean place, friendly staff and there is a variety of options to choose from. When walking from Manhattan to Brooklyn on the Brooklyn bridge, arriving in Brooklyn this café is off on the left side and super close that is why there is a lot of tourists stopping by.

I had the Texas Hot Dog that comes with fries for $ 7.95 and a coffee for $ 1.50 with free refills. It came out to $ 10.28 which is ok for the area and considering that coffee refills are free. The hot dog was tasty!!! BUT! It was supposed to be a chicken hot dog and I received a beef hoy dog, also it was on a hamburger bun!!! Who serve a hot dog on a hamburger bun? Pard me, if that’s how it is served in Texas, I am not American. I didn’t send it back because it would take another 15 minutes or more to be cook, the server would get blame for it, and I am a server; I hate when that happens even though it might be my fault. So, I ate it. The hot dog was super tasty. Grilled to perfection, the fries were good, no oily, soggy or salty. However, the next time I go I want to have my chicken hot dog, on a hot dog bun! Here is a recommendation for the restaurant: *Simplify the menu. Make the fonts bigger and clear. *Divide classic diner dishes from specialty dishes. *List the drinks on the menu. *Make a jar of iced tea or two, so your servers don’t waste making an iced tea everything somebody order one. *Since you don’t have a hostess or enough server, put the menus on the table. *You have TVs right? Turn them ON, or put some music if you are going to have them off. It relaxes people and the wait for the food is easier to handle, specially when you are super hungry. That’s it. I think they business would do better if you change some of those details.
