Servpro Downey were fantastic at communication and customer service. They were a ¼ price of the first company I had come take a bid and completed everything with a smile. I definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for this service!

Setup a job then they said they couldnt do it.

Last week I discovered my water heater busted and had been leaking long enough to flood ¹⁄₃ of a carpeted room adjacent to the tank in my home. The water had already made its way up through the walls and was moving fast. The carpet was ruined as by this point every step I took was accompanied by the sound you would expect come from a soaked 2″ carpet and padding together. NOT GOOD! I called my insurance company, (State Farm) to find out my options. Without hesitation my agent, Cesar Ortiz, three way’d a call into Thom Hoge of Servpro of Downey to help asses my issue. After a quick intro and brief description of what had transpired Thom knew exactly what course of action to take and was sure to fully explain to me his purpose for doing so. Thom personally drove his equipment to my home and set up a dehumidifier (not the kind you find at Target) and two industrial sized blowers. Thom kept the equipment running for three days till every single millidrop was extracted and evaporated from the floor and walls. Because of Thoms quick response and expertise it literally saved me thousands of $$$$ had it gone the other way. A huge thank you to Thom and the Servpro team of Downey… and my insurance agent for making that call.

Thank goodness for Servpro of Downey. We had a slow leak that destroyed part of our wood floor and was later complicated with finding asbestos flooring under the wood. The Servpro team including the movers and Ruby Lopez were just great, a real lifeline for us. STEVE LEWIS was absolutely the best there is! He dried out the area, was very considerate and helpful. smart and kind in a really messy unsettled ongoing situation. I don’t know what we would have done without him. We live in Laguna Niguel but I would call Servpro of Downey for any emergency homeowner mess. They are worth it, they guide you through it smoothly. Thank you Servpro.

Servpro downey was awesome! Had a leak in the roof. Could not figure out for the life of me why the carpet in the family room was soaked. Had Tom from servpro downey come out and figure out where the leak was actually coming from. Had all the equipment to explain to us the issue and what we needed to do to resolve. In the unfortunate event where there is any kind of water damage, I highly recommend calling servpro downey.

Back in 2012 we just purchased our 1^st house and we were also having our 1^st child, then 2 weeks before moving in our house flooded. Thom and his crew where great, they took the stress out of a very stressful time and just told me to take care of my family and he would take care of my home. He kept us informed all the way through the process until he handed the keys back to us. I think of the ServPro of Downey team as part of our family and home.

The guys from ServPro are an awesome team. Thom, Dave, and all the crew, they are helpful, communicative, and always willing to work with you and your family’s needs. Thom in particular is a star in the art of customer service, he has all the basics down, plus he goes above and beyond– he listens, understands, comes up with solutions, and uses mainstream technology to better relate to his customers– whether it’s email, text, or the old-​fashioned phone calls, he’s willing to do it. The people from ServPro helped me so much. In February I had a house fire that destroyed everything I ever owned. Thom, showed up a few days after and explained how the entire situation was going to happen. I had never experienced anything like that before. I am a renter so thank goodness for Renters Insurance. But as far as guidance, I can never thank Thom enough. They came in and cataloged everything for me and sent it all to my insurance for me. Even 6 months after the fire, I called the office and spoke to Thom and he immediately remembered me. The whole team made this experience as best as it could be me. They would even communicate with me by email, which is great for my work schedule. I hope to never have another fire, but I know who to call if it did happen. I would 100% recommend this team to anyone who needs restoration services.
