I did not have a good experience. Over promised under delivered. A simple battery replacement took a month and a half! Everytime I called I felt I was being brushed off. Was on hold for so long the last time I had time to get in my car, drive there(all while still being on hold) and make it in before they picked up my call! Unacceptable! The manager Ada Portillo was nice and professional but offered nothing for this inconvenience. A word of advice for Kay… Dont tell people the merchandise will be ready in 3 weeks than make them wait 6 weeks. I wanted to have my nice watch for Valentine’s Day and thanks to Kay Jewelers in Downey that didnt happen.

Never had any problems with Kays, bought My wifes Engagement rings, and wedding bands, come at anytime an they will clean my rings at no charge. Now looks way better they remodel the building

Fuck this place Kay jealous fucks, the lady’s where assholes I came in to pick up my ring and they where closing they didn’t even try to make a effort to help me with my ring. The website says there open till 9:00 and I was there 35 minutes before they closed and they just told to come back some other day. I normally don’t cuz but fuck this place and that one sales lady.

I just walked out of this place. When I first entered I stopped and browsed the display catalog, but I came in with the intent to purchase a gift. There were 3 sales people and only 4 customers in the store. One sales lady was helping a couple, one was on a computer and one was filling out a form at the counter. The other 2 customers were standing at the counter I assume had already been helped by the lady on the computer. The lady helping the couple glanced at me once and went back to helping them. I browsed the displays a few times to give the sales people time to get to me but it never happened. I stood in the middle of the store for about 10 minutes and was never acknowledged. Perhaps they assumed I was a window shopper, however I was more than prepared to swipe my Kay’s card. Lesson learned, I will stick to Lakewood Mall, much better customer service as well as selection. They definitely lost a potential customer.
