Edwin is great at what he does! I have referred him plenty of times and my friends loved his work as well! I will continue refer him only because I know what I’m telling you. He might sometimes be flooded with work and won’t respond as quickly but that lets me know he’s doing something right if I’m not the only one trying to get ahold of him… I confide he treats all his clients with respect and prompt attention. He once mentioned to me he started his business to help out his community and that left me impressed because he is slowly but SURELY helping out his community one client at a time!

Great staff with extremely helpful information. I filed taxes for my small business for the first time and it was a great experience, Dulce and Edwin were very helpful. Needless to say we filed our personal (my wife and I) taxes here too and i will definitely be back next year. When it came to keeping track of my expenses for my business I had no idea what I was doing but Dulce helped me out better organize my expenses and found way more expenses that i had over looked. This has been by far the best experience I’ve had while doing my taxes. I really recommend this place for taxes of all kinds, they are really informative and they really know what they are doing here.

Dulce prepared our taxes and she was thoroughly detailed in explaining the process of our filing. We had numerous questions and every single one of them was answered in depth.

As stated in our previous review of 2/​15, we’d return to Unilocal to give EDT a well deserved 5 stars once we’d completed filing. Although it appears one matter we’d discussed with Edwin having to do with innocent spouse relief/​filing the form with our 2015 taxes didn’t happen, we’re unsure if it would have even been accepted by the State. Possibly we can amend or simply ensure we file for it with 2016 taxes. Edwin is aware, there’s no doubt he’ll address it and that 5 stars? Well deserved. Thank you EDT!

Consitency is key! And this man is consistent! Always extremely satisfied. Everytime I come in to see Edwin I’m always at ease as he makes this process super easy and stress free for me. I spoke with Edwin in 2014 about some tax questions I had. Although I didn’t provide any business for him at that time, he was still nice and courteous enough to answer all of my questions — yes, I had a lot. Tax season… Not my favorite time of the year. Most of the time I’m happy with not having to pay more. That was until I went to Edwin Does Taxes. Edwin helped me prepare my taxes last year and thanks to him I don’t hate tax season anymore. He is very professional and friendly. The whole process was quick and easy and I even got a good refund. He told me we could go as walk-​one, so we decided to go. Dulce and Robert helped us to do our taxes. Edwin has an open and hectic schedule this time of year for obvious reasons. Even as many industrial workers move to-​and-​fro throughout this area it’s hard to get into an office with someone certified to process your paperwork and file the refunds. I waited 2 weeks longer for other preparers and never heard back from one even as I tried to negotiate which paperwork was required to make the decision to «shop» with this other business.
I must say that the feature of booking your own time slot on his site is a most refreshing deal, as it puts you in control of your time. Since you’re the one giving THEM (in this case Edwin) the business it SHOULD be on YOUR time. Thankfully, I was able to send a quick email for a less than 24 hour meetup and there I was in the office for 30 minutes with a good picture of what I owed and what I was getting.
If you have a pretty open and simple sets of taxes then go with this young and up-​and-​coming firm. Even if you don’t have simplicity then challenge them to do the best for you because the smaller firms often are above and beyond reproach for quality and assurance (its in their best interest to put food on the table!).
I give a 4 Star rating because it’s an A-​OK firm. Its a good place to get your work done and get your money in a timely and effective manner. He’s friendly and open to explain the stuff you may or may not know about.. . A five star firm is hard to find, but a 4 is a solid rating, especially for smaller businesses.
