Downey Urgent Care

Very slow service. I’m kinda dying here and I’ve been waiting for over one hour. I’m the only one here so why such a long wait.

I woke up with mild chest pain and a bit of difficulty breathing. After an hour, it had passed and I didn’t meet the other symptoms of heart attack, so I decided to drive myself to the nearest Urgent Care facility instead of clogging up a nearby ER with my pain that wasn’t present.
When I think of an Urgent Care facility, I don’t think about one requiring an appointment. Because, after all, it is urgent care. However, the doctors listed in this building operate a usual practice in addition to providing Urgent Care. However, the door required being buzzed into their offices and the nurse told me that I required an appointment for Urgent Care.
After telling them that I was experiencing mild chest pain, I was told to proceed to Downey Regional’s ER instead. Yeah, thanks for that. I understand that you might not have the necessary equipment, but don’t label yourself Urgent Care if you’re not open to anyone who needs it.
