Super fast. Great deal. Best deal around! Especially for mandatory STAR certified requirement. Other places take advantage that you for that notice from DMV. Not here.

Oscar had done the smog check on my car, and it took him 15 minutes or less to complete the job. He only charged me $ 40.00 (31.27 labor + 8.73 certificate). I didn’t made an appointment, but I drove my car pass the car wash, since his shop is the rear of the property. I will definitely go back to him, on my next smog check. Thanks Oscar!

Oscar is a super cool guy. He charged me $ 40.00 on the smog check for my 2007 KIA Spectra. It is indeed an «express» smog check station. You can’t beat his prices.
I really appreciate that he was able to spot and tell me that my radiator was leaking antifreeze.
I highly recommend him. I will most definitely start taking all my cars to him to get smog checks.

This place is really a hidden Gem. Located all the way in the back behind the car wash place. I am selling my wife’s Jetta and it happened to be a Sunday; This place is open Sundays! That’s hard to find. Downey Express Smog Check is clean and Oscar was very professional and answer all of our questions. We were in and out literally in 15 minutes. The buyer for our car requested that this place be STAR certified, which it is. So overall, we’re super satisfied with Oscar’s fast service.

I just got my car smogged here. I was in and out within 15 minutes on a Sunday morning and I didn’t need an appointment. $ 40 charge and everything was electronically sent to the DMV. Oscar was very friendly and efficient. If you need a smog, I recommend this spot!

Straight to the point: I highly recommend them!
Luckily I had enough sense to use Unilocal to find a local Smog Check business that had a good rating. This place is fast, reliable, and reasonably priced! Oscar took care of me and was awesome.
Only thing is that it’s a little hard to find if you’re driving on the street. It’s located on the same lot as a car wash and is all the way to the back. You’ll see it if you drive in the lot though. Check them out!
