Close and convenient. Has plenty of vegan and non gmo selections. It works good for us. Hate having to drive to sprouts or whole foods so having a store in town is great. Good selections, decent prices. Ok customer service but most people who come here do so knowing what they’re looking for. Best selection of Bragg products I’ve seen. Its not a large chain store so it could improve in many areas but let’s not be critical, for what it is it works.

It was my first time coming to this place. My husband and I came specifically to but flaxseed oil that we couldn’t find antwhere else. We had called a day prior coming and the person that answer the phone was really helpful, friendly and informative. Is a small store but drom what I saw was stocked wirh many organic and healthy products that you can’t find nowhere near our place so altought is a bit of a drive for us but yet not too far. Now knowing of their selection we will surely go back and shop for our organic products there

So super small place with very little options or selections. But to be honest, «who in Downey is super organic, vegan or healthy? Not most people. This is a great little store, needs a face-lift ASAP. A bit disappointing. Customer service: I was greeted briefly with, «Hello!» But that was it. Thank gosh once I entered the store I saw what I needed & headed out. Expensive: it’s average. Any type of organic vegan, natural store of any kind of expensive. Duh!

So beyond happy to have found the store and it’s in Downey. It’s tucked away in a shopping mall between Pepboy’s and Slizzer. The store isn’t very large but it had everything I needed. It’s largely supplement based but you can find vegan and gluten free options. As well as personal care products from, tooth paste to soap. Can’t wait to check out the Lakewood store, the next time I’m in the area.

I have been coming here for years when I lived in Norwalk. I moved back to the valley 4 yrs go, but was in Norwalk today seeing my dentist. From the minute I walked in a tall man greeted me, and took me over to all the products I was looking for. He was super helpful. I have always had good service here, so I am surprised by the bad reviews. They are a bit pricey, but what can you do about it. I was in an out of there in about 6 minutes. Plenty of parking.

Decent selection of homeopathic meds, g-free & vegan foods, natural stuff etc. Call ahead to see if they have what you need though as they are kind of a small operation. Store itself could use a remodel but the staff is friendly and helpful and, as it’s the only nature store for at least 10 miles, really great to have here in Downey!

It’s the only health food store in the area so I’ve got to there sometimes. They need new registers! Went there on my lunch break and they broke down wasted my break!!! So annoyed. Remodel and spiff it up a bit do a little marketing and I’m sure people will get excited about it.

They do carry brands like Health Direct, Wonder Bar, and Chimes ginger chews to name a few. However the place looks like a run down dump. They have a table in the front full of expiring products marked down. to the left the small sale room, The stuff in the freezers looks untrustworthy. The staff isn’t always very friendly or very helpful at times. There is one lady or two that are very nice friendly and helpful so not all staff is bad. Also my last visit there was some guy that was trying to be hard I think he wants someone to knock his teeth out. That or his is gay and wants a man(nothing against that). You must purchase $ 10 or more to use a credit card. If it wasn’t so close to me i would avoid this place. However there is a really good donut shop a few stores down. And I always past through here so I do tend to stop on by. I wish much better places like Vitamin Shoppe or the other larger cleaner health food stores. Also one more thing its a one way parking lot but most people don’t know that. So you can be kind and let others past or you could see if you could rearrange there brains to function properly. LOL!

I used to be a frequent customer at this health food store, since it’s the only place in my area I can find vegan cheese and jerky, not anymore! The last few times I visited in the past couple of months, every time I went in, the refrigerators were broken. However they continued to sell all the refrigerated items. Each time I went back, the same items were still for sale, in an almost room temperature fridge! I asked a few times about when it would be fixed(I saw the same repair man in there on different occasions), and they always seemed annoyed by my questions. I should have reported them to the health department, but unfortunately never did. If someone were to buy some spoiled meat or dairy, oh man that could be bad!(good thing I’m vegan!) Another thing that started to annoy me about this place, is that one day I went in the the cashier(old lady with dark hair) was making religious comments to a couple, saying things like«that’s the reason we have so many kids doing bad things these days cause they don’t believe in god!» This really bothered my since I’m an atheist, and I am a good person. I don’t steal, kill, hell I don’t even eat animals! I bit my tongue for as long as I could, but she should keep her opinions to herself when shes on the clock. I did approach her and tell her she shouldn’t say things like that out loud, because I was offended, and I told her I’m not an evil person just because I don’t have the same beliefs as her. Then she started rambling about Jehovah. At that point, I realized my comment would mean nothing to her, paid for my items and left. This place is now on my poop list. ps they’re often overpriced too.

I went there for the first time today. I would give this place 5 stars for vitamin & dietary supplement selection. 1 star however, for customer service and grocery selection. I asked one of the two ladies at the counter if the bloated gallon of organic milk in the fridge was the last one. she said yes. I asked her when they would have more. she said they order new milk monthly. I stood there wondering if I was lucky enough to have arrived toward the end of that month. I stood there. she looked up and repeats every month. I repeat: yes, but when? a full month from now? she says yes.
