Universal Spa Training Academy is Awesome! I attended the Massage Therapy Course and enjoyed it all. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to enter this industry. The staffs were so loving, caring, and very accommodating. They all became family to me. Shout out to my teachers Ms. Kamlyn, Ms. Brandy, and Dr. Fazio. Thank you so much for the dedicated support. Horrible experience. The women up front I believe her name is Gail. Extremely rude and unwelcoming. The student was really sweet and even apologized for Gail’s attitude, the steamer didn’t work equipment seemed really cheap. and barely gave any product. I have zero tolerance for bad service, not sure why you would put someone so unfriendly to greet customers. I recommend The University of Aesthetics & Cosmetology for services, its much more comfortable and welcoming. You have your own room with much more privacy versus the USTA treatment room, see through curtains, uncomfortable treatment beds, dirty robe and sheets. Students have to run back and forth to get hot towels, at The University of Aesthetics & Cosmetology they have everything in the room. Very disappointed in my experience. Bad management.

I am a former student of USTA and cannot recommend it enough, I had Ms Angie as a teacher and she was amazing, very knowledgeable and patient. Chris and Felicia the owners are also outstanding, they both go above and beyond to make sure you get the best possible education. I now work in the industry and couldn’t be happier, If your looking to start school USTA is definitely the way to go!

RUN AWAY FROM ANY WAXING THERE!!!
I only had waxing done — lip, brows and supposed to get a brazilian BUT we didn’t get to that…
Started with my lip — she spent about 30 mins and I swear, every hair was still there. She was even plucking them??? And when she was done, still hairy and my upper lip was all beat up? I don’t even know how someone accomplishes this when it is supposed to be one side waxed, pull — the other side waxed, pull and then maybe some touch-ups. But that’s not the worst…
My brows — it took over an hour and she took a CHUNK OUT OF MY EYE BROWS! I was missing a piece like a rapper who shaves cuts in his brows. I was MORTIFIED and DEVASTATED!!! Like legit wanted to cry.
Needless to say, I ran out of there after my eyes brows and also at this point I think I had been for close to 2 hours now with the wait time prior to getting started. There was no way in hell I was letting her attempt waxing my nether regions.
RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN!

I seriously can’t say enough good things about this school. I’ve been in the esthetics program for a week now and absolutely love it. Now the thought of attending another school (ya know the ones that call you so much you have to actually tell them to stop). makes me cringe. And Universal offers so much more than any other school, ie. laser certification. The teachers are top notch; they actually care about their students and it makes the whole experience so fun and enjoyable. I wake up every day so excited to come here.
The spa… awesome value. Here you have students who are trying to do every service perfectly and impress you. This at discount prices. um, phenomenal deal for spa services! Seriously, this review is tough for me because I could write a novel about how awesome it is here.

I’m glad I made the decision to attend this school after spending quite some time online doing research on aesthetic schools in the area. All the teachers were willing to answer questions (I had a lot) even if you weren’t in their class. In the student clinic several clients commented that the level of service they received there was as good-and some said even better — than some spas they’ve been to.
The owner, Chris, is always available and willing to help not only students, but graduates in their career goals. I’ve asked for input and assistance several
times during school and even after graduating and he’s always gone above and beyond.

I stumbled upon this place by accident, and I’m really glad I found it! I get my eyebrows tinted and waxed every few weeks. The students are very careful, and do a great job. The prices simply cannot be beat. I get my brows done for less than $ 20, and sometimes they are even running specials so it’s even cheaper!
The ladies at the desk are super polite, and setting up appointments is a cinch.
Get on their mailing list and they’ll email you specials and coupons.

This place is a hidden gem! I go at least monthly for facials. They are typically $ 30, but join their email list and they always send out specials for $ 10 off or half price facials! More often than not I have great students, but every now and then I have had a girl that doesn’t seem cut out for it or is a smoker! I don’t want someone who smokes and I can smell it on their hands, touching my face! Luckily it’s only happened twice and I have made it a point to request other students and they are always very accommodating!
The massages here are also fantastic and you can’t beat the price at $ 35! They also offer airbrush tanning, which I have had done once and was happy with!
The atmosphere is really relaxing and they use great products, mostly dermalogica. On occasion they even give you samples of the products they recommend.

Love love this place… I used to get treatments 2x a week… Facial, waxing, massage… You name it… My work schedule changed, so I can only get in now… Maybe once every 2 weeks… Sad… Yep, I’m so spoiled rotten…
For the price… You can’t beat it… The students are eager to get high scores when they give you a survey form, so they always perform their best.
I have been to posh spas… But treatment is bout the same… Price is ¼ less… No brainer right???
Also, they send e-blasts every week… For more discount… I can get Brazilian wax, half leg wax, eyebrow wax, upper lip wax, and underarm wax for about $ 25 or so…
Heck yeah.

I have had serveral services done at this cute training Spa. I love going here because all the techs are students and need hours to get credits to graduate. I love getting waxes done here, the girls are always gentle and I’ve never had a problem with the wax that they use.
I have had many facials as well here and I have loved everyone of them.
I did’t get them 5 stars because the nail service takes a very long time. If you are getting a pedicure and manicure you can be there up to 3 hours.
You can’t beat the price for the services that they offer. They also have monthly specials.

The owners Chris & Felicia are wonderful !!! The staff and teachers are very professional. I graduated from Universal & had such a great experience. They prepare you for your future & are always informing present & past students of current job posting, they go above & beyond to make sure that their students will succeed. The school is decorated more like a upscale spa & it made my experience a pleasure to be there .The school offers many services at discounted prices, I received the best massage I ever had & I have had many massages before. Its also a great place to book bridal or birthday parties.
