I rented an ozone generator from Will at the Downers Grove Rental Max. Not only did the unit not work, but Will lied to my face about it not working. I found out from another employee that there was somebody that rented the unit after me that had the same issue.
When I didn’t get good customer service from Will, I went over his head to the manager named Glen. Glen completely took care of the situation. He allowed me to use an ozone generator that worked and it completely got the odor out of my house. Since Glen did such a fantastic job I will be going back to rental max. He did a wonderful job of turning a very upset and dissatisfied customer into a happy customer. Thank you, Glen!
I originally rated this location 1 star. I am changing the rating of this location to 4 stars because I had a negative experience initially with Will. I had to go over his head to remedy the situation. Glen, the manager, did just that. Thank you, Glen!

I’m a fan of this place. They have reasonable prices, lots of stuff to rent for a party or whatever else you need it for, and they help you load and unload your car.
Plus the guy — and I don’t remember his name — who runs the place is a cool cat. We had a good little conversation about random things and he gave me an extra day to return the stuff I rented. Can’t ask for more than that.
