I have been having the worst luck with mechanics and someone suggested Strafford Tire. I couldn’t be more happy. My check engine light came on and my original mechanic quoted me an exorbitant amount of money for diagnosis and repair. I took my truck to Strafford Tire and told them briefly what was going on, later that day they called and said they ran a diagnosis, the light went off, they made sure nothing was actually wrong with my truck and sent me on my way free of charge. I am definitely going to be a repeat customer with my vehicle needs! Thank you!!!

So six years ago I bought four new Michelin’s and had a 4 wheel alignment. They were very thorough and gave me a great price. Since I needed tires again, I went back to Strafford. This time I got the four new tires and a 2-​wheel alignment, even though when I booked the appointment I asked for a full 4-​wheel alignment. They also told me one of my tire pressure sensors needed to be replaced and I said ok. So, when my car was done, the mechanic told me my tire light was still on, but should go out after driving 30 miles or I may need to bring it back to be reset. I thought, ok, maybe the light will go out. The tire light did not go out. I called and spoke to the owner and he told me that I would need to bring it somewhere to have it reset. He did not offer to have me come back so they could do it. Don’t you think that an experienced garage would know that the tire light probably needed to be reset and would have completed the entire job so that I did not drive away with a tire light still on? I do need more work on my car and actually got an estimate from the mechanic at Strafford while I was there for my tires. Unfortunately I will not go back to Strafford. Oh well…

I was up in New Hampshire for a wedding. I got a flat tire the day of the wedding and as the Maid of Honor I was in total panic mode. I was able to get the car to Strafford and they were super helpful! On a busy Saturday they were able to get me in and out in an hour. They saved the day!

Never again!!! You would think I would have learned from the first time I went, Brought a car in for a brake line, (dropped it off the night before), come two days later I got my car. This time went in for a inspection. (9:30 am appointment) they come out 45 min. later and said it failed because headlights are foggy. «Ok how much and how long» I ask. $ 70 to do it and it will take an hour, «sure ok go ahead, But i have to bring my kid to the doctors at 2pm. (mind you this is 10am). hours go by and I call at 12:30 pm and they tell me they are half way through and the guy is on lunch. I again reminded them I have a Dr. appointment at 2:00. «No problem» they said. I had to cancel the appointment, pay for the appointment because it was not 24 hour notice all because they did not finish till 4:00 pm!!! A 1 hour job turned into 6 hour job!!! And to top it off There were 15 miles added to my odometer that were not there when I dropped it off!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!

The staff was friendly and very helpful. Attention to detail and quality of work performed was great. Prices were very fair.

I got an oil change & my slow-​leaking tire fixed here, and everyone was really nice. Not the kind of place that jerks you around at all. I heartily recommend them!
