Kendall Pond Pizza

So I may have spoken way to soon, so earlier today I posted about my first experience with them from a week ago. The funny thing is I actually made myself hungry so I ordered another steak, mushroom and provolone cheese tonight. Well the sub arrived and believe me when I tell you, it was dry. So I look inside and wouldn’t ya know, NO CHEESE! So we call back and they would send another one right out, well it just arrived and wouldn’t ya know, NO CHEESE AGAIN!!! Now I’d call and tell them again but I’m way to hungry and I’ not saying they do this but, I have visions of a pissed off cook making sure the 3^rd sub would be nice and moist, if you get what I mean. Maybe this place isn’t as good as I first reported. Not to mention they gave us a $ 15 discount but then went and bumped the delivery charge up to $ 5 instead of $ 2.50. It’s amazing, did they not think that I would look at my receipt? It’s unbelievable that they would be so cheap and try to swindle me and lose a customer over $ 2.50. Stay away, stay far far away…

Dear Kendall Pond,
The price of your food is much higher than it’s quality. Tonight I ordered a chicken cutlet sub and received a chicken finger sub. For future, chicken fingers and a chicken cutlet are not one in the same. This sandwich cost me over $ 12, which I wouldn’t mind paying if it was really good. Unmelted cheese on top of old and hard chicken tenders is a disappointing waste of money and calories.

I live down the street and get the normal steak and cheese all the time. I ordered the steak tip today because they ran out of shaved steak and for people interested. Don’t order it. It came doused in tereyaki flavoring and was way overpriced. For the price of one sub I could have gotten two pizzas from dominoes.

The food is alright here but the girl at the counter today was for lack of a better word «Cunty»

The food is decent but way overpriced. We have been ordering from here for at least six years and the last two times we called for 2 items (pizza/​calzone) they told us it would be $ 40. Really? The first time it happened we called back and they «fixed» the price but this last time the person taking the order said it was put in properly. The staff either needs to be trained better or their prices are getting outrageous! So annoying.

I ordered from here as my first pizza delivery experience in town. I went with Unilocal reviews as a indicator but was safely disappointed. The wings were way over battered and the pizza was initially Okay, a bit greasy, but later that night my stomach turned upside down and the rest of my night I’ll leave off the review! Last complaint was it seemed very expensive for a very average or below average pizza and size. I’ll be trying another place next time

I’ve been ordering delivery from these guys for a few weeks and the food is fantastic! They’re dinners are well priced for the amount of food you get, Chicken Parm a salad and bread for $ 11. Pretty good deal and there’s always leftovers! Friendly and delicious! Good take out food!

The first few times we ordered from here we were happy — pizza arrived within an hour and it was good. Last few times this place has been super disappointing: delivery takes more than an hour and is either burnt, ice cold or far too loaded with cheese.

Recently ordered takeout from here, the food was really good and the customer service seemed great.
My only complaint is that it was far too overpriced for what I got. (Which was a steak tip salad, there was about 4 – 5 small pieces of steak but no salad…)
I would order from here again, because like I said it was good and they deliver, with no minimum $ amount. I would just be more aware of portion sizes.

We’ve tried to love Kendall Pond for the two years we’ve lived in Dover but its just not happening. They are over priced for the quality of food. Delivery takes over an hour no matter what you order. Between the insane wait times, grumpy employees and getting overcharged (and having it be a HUGE issue when I called back and brought it up) have just decided to avoid this place all together. My business will be going to Pizza Spinners in Lee, even if we do have to drive 15 minutes to get it.

I have been eating here for several years now. I have never had a bad meal, or bad service. The visible kitchen area is really clean. Pricing is reasonable too.

The food here is decent. One time though we ordered and had pizza delivered. Both pizzas had no sauce on them. And I’m serious, no sauce. WTF?

Weird location, but pleasantly surprised! Although I still like La Festa’s pizza better, it’s yummy and the atmosphere is better. You can hang out, have some beer, play pool, and enjoy the food (while watching a game on one of the TVA if desired). We will def be going back!

Good pizza. They have solid deals and the subs are good too. The nice part is you can order via the internet and either get delivery or pick it up. Very convenient.
They also have a good beer selection and the NFL football package!!!

My husband and I love their pizza! Not crazy about the onion rings though. They weren’t crispy at all… In fact a little soggy!

After ten years in Dover we finally tried this joint. It was pleasant change from the screaming kids and rude soccer moms at LaFestas. We just grabbed a couple of slices and a beer. The pizza was some of the best I’ve had in the area. The veggies were crisp and the sausage still had some snap. I would bet it’s better if you ordered a fresh pie. The servers were great. Good bye LaFesta.

Their onion rings are amazingly delicious. Also their subs are pretty fantastic. Their dinners are really good too, they all come with a yummy salad. This is our go-​to takeout place on nights we don’t feel like cooking. They also deliver, which is fantastic.
We are not a big fan of their pizza, but then again, we are not fans of deep dish or their crust style in general so we are a bit biased.
Their buffalo chicken sandwich is AMAZING. It comes on a bulkie roll with lettuce, tomato, mushrooms, ranch… Really really tasty stuff. Give it a try! So yummy.

I have to completely edit my review of this restaurant. When I first reviewed Kendall Pond, I wasn’t a fan of their pizza but a great fan of their subs.
Kendall Pond Pizza is the one place that My husband and I order from when we order out. We absolutely love it. The subs are very tasty and my husband loves their calzones (especially the meatball!) Their pizza still doesn’t win me over only because my preference is a thick doughy crust and they’re more of a thinner crunchier crust. but that’s really not due to lack of talent.
I also am very impressed with every employee that we’ve encountered, they’ve all been nice, respectful and catered to us when we’ve been in for lunch. They are wonderful.
Lastly, their hours are great! they do not close early, and they have the option of ordering online whether you want to pick it up or get it delivered. This is convenience we do not get from every place that we dine. This is why we are so apt to go for Kendall Pond first, aside from their tasty food. :) I highly recommend a stop in or an online order from them. The Steak and Cheese is awesome!

Good food and friendly staff. Good place to meet friends as everybody orders and pays at the counter. Food is delivered to your table fairly quickly. Menu variety, quality and price is about what you would expect at a typical «pizza joint».

Me and my husband’s favorite pizza in the area. I wish it was a little cheaper or they had better coupons (2.02 off a large pizza. Seriously?) but the pizza is amazing.
