History

Established in 1994.

I start doing massage therapy on when my brother was born prematurely, I was 9! I discovered that it helped him through the teathing, was useful in keeping him focused after being diagnosed with ADD. I continued giving massages intuitively and what I learned from the few books that were available when I joined the Air Force and gave massages to our squadron basketball and softball teams. I took my training and started my own business, helping people reduce stress and relief pain from repetitive strain and over training and the results of too much sitting at a desk. I realized that most people have forgotten how to just relax and realize that a body, mind, and spirit must be rejuvenated to continue to work at optimal capacity and massage is a great rejuvenator.

Meet the Business Owner

Janna S.

Business Owner

I started doing massage intuitively when I was 9 years old and my brother was born premature, deaf and hyperactivea. I quickly learned a massage soothed him and helped him stay calm. When I joined the Air Force in 1975, I gave massages to our squadron basketball, baseball, and rugby teams to help relieve pain from strained muscles abd stress. I continued giving massages as a hobby until 1992 when my mother died and I realized that what I wanted to do was provide massages to people so they could feel better. In 2002, a friend introduced me to nutraceutical called OPC, a supplement that manages my asthma without the side effects that I experienced with an inhaler. So I added the nutraceuticals to my practice because I believe that many diseases can be managed by supplements as opposed to pharmaceuticals that can have side effects. Also as a person that struggles with her weight, I realized a small group (10 or less) could better support each in managing their weight than with diet.
