Hampton Inn Dover

Excellent accommodation and staff. Our first room did not have a tub, so we called the desk to request another room. Immediately moved with a smile and even called us in a few minutes to make sure we liked the new room. Modern amenities and very clean.

We just stayed here this past weekend for my daughter graduation from UNH. We were very happy with our stay. The hotel was clean. The breakfast was very nice. But the biggest thing was the staff. The front desk staff were fabulous! The were so friendly and they we extremely accommodating. We were there for 2 nights and had 3 rooms. We had people coming in all weekend at different time. We let the front desk know and they had the keys ready for everyone when they arrived. It is a small ride to the college and we would normally stay at the hotel near the school but that hotel tripled their price with a 3 night minimum just because of graduation! I got 3 rooms for 2 nights for what would have cost me for one room for only 2 nights in other hotel. We will book here again when we go up to school!!!

My wife and kids stayed here this weekend and WOW! What a great hotel they cater to your every need. Reily was working the front desk was awesome and he helped us in every way we needed with a smile and a great attitude! I want to hire him and have him work for me. The hotel was clean and the pool was perfect. The free breakfast was great and the rest of the staff was so nice! Great job guys and look forward to staying again! Thank you and great job!

Greatest location — right down the street from a Starbucks [very important in my book] and near the freeway. The staff was extremely helpful and this bed was so comfortable after a long day of meetings.
Local and close to many sites. Highly recommend.

Room had a motel-​feel, lights buzzing, not very much lighting, a mini-​fridge randomly placed along the wall. Won’t be back. The front desk clerk was very nice.

Stayed here on multiple occasions when I was stuck in town last winter due to bad weather. Exceeded my expectations. Would highly recommend.

Hotel in general was clean. Got into our room to discover toilet was clogged and mold growing along the calking in the shower. Looking around the room we found what looked like an extra blanket in the closet. It was in a plastic case that was covered in blue painters tape. Woke up to the bill under the door and was surprised at how expensive the night was. The room was definitely not worth what we payed. Will not be returning to the hotel again.

I stayed at the Hampton Inn for 4 nights because it was close to my friend’s wedding. It is not incredibly fancy, but it is clean, safe, and everyone was really friendly. We were able to get early check in and late check out without any additional cost. You can enjoy free breakfast and there is no additional charge for internet. They have an indoor pool and fitness center. They were very helpful in booking the meeting room for our bachelorette party to gather in.
Our room had a mini frig and microwave which was helpful when taking home leftovers from the 99, a restaurant that is within walking distance to the hotel.
PROS: Friendly staff, breakfast & internet included, pool, fitness center, lots of parking, coffee maker in room, Neutrogena toiletries
CONS: It’s right next to a cemetery (not necessarily a con, but it can be a little surprising upon arrival), hair dryers are not very powerful

My first time staying at this Hampton Inn.
Overall, it’s a very nice hotel — it has a lot going for it!
Our rooms were on the third floor. I mentioned to the lady at the front desk — that the mini-​fridge was a short coming of the hotel. She responded that they are working on that and that all rooms on the first and second floors have been outfitted with mini-​fridges. We asked if there was any way to get mini-​fridges brought to our rooms — she responded with a yes and within a few minutes we both had mini-​fridges in our rooms!
I sat in the lobby/​lounge area for a while after I arrived to work for a bit. I changed the stations on the two flat panel HD TVs to ESPN and The Weather Channel, respectively.
They offer a breakfast service in here in the morning — but I did not try it.
Pros:
— Clean, comfortable rooms
— Comfortable bed and pillows
— Flat panel HD TV with lots of HD channels!
— Free Wi-​Fi internet access
— AC kept the room cool
Cons
— The free internet access was abysmally slow
— The AC unit in my room was incredibly noisy. My work colleague told me the one in his room was very loud as well. Come on Hilton — let’s upgrade these units to something modern and quiet
— Third floor rooms currently have no mini-​fridges
— No pantry area for purchase of snacks, beverages, toiletries, just a couple of vending machines
— The shower in my bathroom had mildew/​mold on some of the caulking. They need to get in here and strip out the caulking and replace it a fresh, mildew resistant brand.
If the AC unit had been quiet — the hotel would have received a substantially higher rating from me. I was exhausted the next day — I can even begin to estimate how many times I awoke during the night each time the AC unit came on.
Staff was friendly and helpful!

Back to three stars for these guys. Place is fine, Room was clean and quiet. Price was OUTRAGEOUS — double what I usually pay and 50% higher than last month. Breakfast is still poor, but the morning coffee is available around 5am. Time to shop around for a better deal.

Fine Hampton Inn — very clean, modern updates. Very convenient to the downtown business district. Front desk was very helpful finding some good seafood place to eat on the river — great!!!
Nice breakfast bar — I will stay again on the next trip to Dover.

My family came here after a horrible experience at the Days Inn. The front desk staff was beyond amazing. At the last minute they were able to get us into two rooms and that same price we were paying nightly at the Days Inn. Rooms were clean and cozy. The breakfast was wonderful. Pool was a wonderful treat. It was great having the 99 restaurant next door. Every trip we make up to UNH we’ll be staying here.

Another solid addition to the Hampton team. Clean, quiet, all the necessities in our room, including free wireless! Tough to beat at this price or higher.

The Dover NH Hampton Inn is a very nice chain hotel. The rooms are clean and during the winter season a cheap place to stay if you ski at Pat’s Peak in Henniker NH. This location has a small gym and a pretty good size pool. There is a pretty good Chinese restaurant across the street that has a small night club and a casino on site.
