Dr. Wendall violated our patient rights by using a filling type that was specifically against our wishes. We called his office and was assured he would call promptly at 5. No call back, so we used the emergency call line to reach him. We wanted to discuss options for getting the correct filling done, however he became hostile and resorted to cussing and name calling. When I tried explaining why we choose this preferred filling type for our family, he yelled «shut the f*** up lady» and used names like «quack» and «fruitcake» repeatedly; citing his education and certifications as being superior to what we feel is best in a mocking tone. When I asked if he would be willing to pay for the removal and replacement of the incorrect filling, he hung up on me after saying I could speak with his attorney. He would rather that than working out a solution? Seriously??? Malpractice comes in all forms. When you trust someone to the care of your child and they do something different than what you requested, doesn’t place a temporary filling until a better method is decided upon and claims he knows what’s best for your child… Well, he shouldn’t be practicing and he certainly shouldn’t be working with children! We have spoken with an attorney and he violated our rights. Don’t use this dentist if you want to have the deciding choice of what you believe is best for your kids!
