Popeyes

I love Popeyes chicken! Whenever I find a franchaise I frequent it often. I was so very happy when this one opened in Douglasville. Sorry to say that management and training have been a struggle at this location. Sometimes the food is good, hot and fast and sometimes it is not. Sometimes the staff is professional and sometimes not. If this franchise ever developed the training and managerial procedures as Chick-​fil-​a has instituted, this could be a fabulous restaurant.

I’m going to ask the big question. Is KFC better or Popeyes. I know there are other chains out there like churches or bojangles but really these are the two big companies. personally it’s not a contest Popeyes is the clear victor over KFC. I feel that the quality of the fried chicken is better and the breaking is so much better. Even the sides are better. I really like the red bean and rice.
Got food to take home and eat. The service was so so but I mean it’s a fast food rest what did you expect. There is a nice deal for thighs if you like thighs. If they have extra thighs, they will give you 5 for 3.50. Not a bad deal right?
The chicken was good it was moist but still crunchy. We also got a large thing of red beans and rice. This dose taste like authentic red beans and rice but it is still pretty good.
Something I like to do is by biscuits, open them up put the fried skin and the chicken in there. In then you have a crispy chicken sandwich. Well I guess that sums it up then.

Crappy attitude staff … Yelling and bitching at each other while us customers waited

We have tried this Popeye’s several times and while the food is good the service is terrible if you don’t have the same skin color of the person taking your order. We walked in and as soon as we got to the counter everyone walked away. The girl that was taking orders picked up her cell phone and made a phone call and stepped out. The other two walked toward the drive through and after a few minutes a manager from the back had to come out from the back to take our order.
Needless to say we will not be returning.

At this location in Douglasville on Hwy 5 they just do not seem to care about thier customers. Management as done a poor job on hiring and training their employees. I do not recommend this Popeyes.

Dont waste your time. Poor service and if you need an extra napkin you will have to wait in line for another. Food is not that great either.

The food was good and fresh when I came there. I’m not sure how anyone else’s experience was but for me that is a good indication that they are serving fresh food. The soda machine there is AWESOME! Peach Sprite… Yes Please!
