K & L Window Tinting and Car Detailing

Does what you ask. Got the tint done some days ago, looks good no bubbles, no spaces. What more is there.

Good luck understanding the guy! I went to get my window tinted to match my other windows after a recent break in. The body shop I use recommended this guy. As I showed up I struggled to understand him and he was kind of rude about it. The shop is disgusting so I didn’t want to sit down. Meanwhile he played this vietnamese radio show so I was quite anxious to get out of there. After he tinted my window I pulled out my credit card to pay him and he got infuriated with me that he only takes cash. He tried to say I wasn’t listening to him when he said he only takes cash and I explained I had a hard time understanding him. In the end, he didn’t match my tint of the other windows because my tint is illegal which I didn’t know, he had a horrible demeanor, and I wasted my money.

I’ve been going to K & L in Douglasville for over 10 years. Ken has tinted 5 of our cars and the quality is always impeccable. He’s super friendly and his price can’t be beat. I live in Morningside/​VAHI and yes I do make the drive to Douglasville just because I know him and trust his work. I recommend all of my friends to him. I’m about to take another car to him that is already tinted from the dealer but just not dark enough. Don’t use your GPS to get to him because it will point you in the wrong direction. He’s in downtown Douglasville right off Church Street and Hwy 78. Don’t go Bankhead Hwy like the GPS says. Ken is a one man shop and he stays busy so make an appointment first. As long as Ken is around this is where I will always take my car if I ever need tinting.
