Established in 2003.

David Rivas (the «D» in D & R Painting and Construction) has been in the painting and remodeling business for most of his adult life. David started D & R painting while living in Chicago in the late 1990s with his wife, Rosario (the «R» in D & R), after many years as a professional painter for large contracting firms. Since relocating to Douglasville in 2003, David has expanded his business to include residential and commercial renovation and construction and has built up a history of satisfied customers and top-​rate work around the metro Atlanta area.

David resides in Douglasville, GA with his wife and three children. After many years as a professional painter for large contracting firms in Chicago, David moved to Douglasville in 2003 to start D & R Painting. Since 2003, David has expanded his business to D & R Painting and Construction to include residential and commercial renovation and has built up a history of satisfied customers and top-​rated work

Running D & R Painting and Construction has been a passion of David’s since its inception and he takes pride in the quality and level of work produced. David, known for his work ethic and professionalism, has been an active member of his community by providing services to his church and organizing holiday gift-​giving program for underprivileged children around the Douglasville area.
