I had Lubrano’s for the first time over the weekend and I’m already a fan. The pizza was great and her sons couldn’t stop gushing about how much they love the pizza and Lubrano’s itself. Living in the pizza and beer mecca of Bridgeport, I have access to an insane amount of pizza in one square mile, but Lubrano’s has exactly the kind of cheese I crave when I get tired of the overly gooey stark white mozz that’s on every pizza around here. I’ll be driving past to get to the Reading Phillies this Friday and Saturday and I’m probably gonna stop by for a slice both days!

Not only is the food amazing, but the prices cannot be beat. They have an «everyday lunch special» for 2 big slices of cheese pizza and a can of soda for $ 3.00. They also have a dinner special that is the best deal around. For $ 26.99, you get: 1 Large Stromboli, 1 Large Cheese Pizza, 12 – 15 Garlic Knots, 12 Breaded Chicken Wings, and an order of French Fries. It’s enough food to last me for a week. Sometimes there is a language barrier due to the owner being from Italy. I don’t believe any of the posts that say the owner is a thief. If he was, he woudln’t have such reasonable prices (especially with Island Pizza’s crazy prices across the street). I’ve never been overcharged there once. He has thrown in free bottles of soda several times though. There is a $ 3 charge for delivery though.

The best Pizza I’ve had in the area (much better than the catty corner Island Pizza). Every day they have a special for 2 plain slices and a can of soda for $ 3. The slices are huge and delicious — can’t beat it!

NEVER ORDER FROM LUBRANO“S!!! ITS A SHAME TO SAY BECAUSE I LIKE THEIR FOOD… BUT THEY ARE LIARS AND THIEFS!!! the order they delivere was incorrect… the girl who delivered said she be right back… and never showed! Call the store and the guy said he knew nothing and the girl said we told her not to worry about coming back… Ummmm Really because i paid with my credit card and am not in the habit of paying places for their screw up!!!
