Food is okay but is expensive. There needs to be a bigger seating area. Advising is not the best. There are small and big classes. The campus center is beautiful with great big windows though.

It is a really nice building but the food service in the cafeteria is pathetic. Besides being obnoxiously overpriced, the cashiers spend half their time talking to coworkers while servicing customers, making the lines even longer. One particular lady always gives me the wrong change.

Medford, MA
New building is nice. Smallest cafeteria for the entire university. Friendly staff, but endless lines for over priced sub par food. They need to cut their contract with Sodexo! The dining hall is big enough for the present sized crowd, but increasing student body is going to cause problems. One stop is good for enrollment and basic needs.
PRO TIP: Being your lunch or hit the book store for a cheap snack.

What a great open house! UMASS Boston knows how to entertain the folks. Wasn’t sure what to expect but the ocean view got my attention! The continental breakfast was put together very classy. Muffins, fruit, Danish, coffee, tea and juice! What a spread. After the short talk, I had the opportunity to visit the campus center and was excited to see people enjoying themselves. With its soaring floor-​to-​ceiling windows, comfortable lounges, and stunning views of the Boston Harbor, it is the perfect place for students of all ages.
