I like that this place has a Dunkies in it, and unlike the one in Edward Everett square, I have never gotten a burnt coffee from this one. In fact, the service and quality of the Dunkin food/drink is the best around Dot. The nice ladies there usually give me free donuts of bagels when I come in near closing time. The store itself has a great convenience grocery collection, I think one could purchase a full meal for 2 here. I also have to commend their Ben and Jerrys and Haggen Daz selection here,. for when you suffer a breakup and need to watch sappy movies but dont want to see 20 couples at the grocery store. I also can get my favorite ciggs here for cheaper than most places(NOONECARRIESKAMELREDS anywhere!) Staff is also very friendly and remember your face even after several months! One downside: only accepts cash and the ATM machine there is RIGHT in the doorway. kinda chilly during winter.

It’s a little depressing to see so many people buying handfulls of scratch tickets every time I come in here. Nonetheless, I couldn’t ask for a better convenient store, with one caveat: they need credit card machines! That said, from their clever name to D&D in the back, this place is pretty great. Added bonus for smokers: they’re the most consistent source of 2-for-1 deals I’ve seen in this city. Still, I wouldn’t come here to stock up on groceries, but for picking up some quick errands and/or a cup of joe, I’d recommend stopping in here. Em is definitely right about very confusing line formations, but everyone’s so friendly it’s never really been an issue.

I’m here once a day and couldn’t ask for more. The guys are nice and the dunkin ladies are so sweet. Plus my coffee always tastes delic. never that burnt-nasty kind that you sometimes get handed at other drunks. I don’t know what I’d do without them. I’d actually have to walk a block to another one.

When I moved to Dorchester, the first thing I noticed was this place. I immediately took a photo for my family out-of-state. Back in the late 80s, I knew about New Kids on the Block and knew they were from Dorchester. I didn’t know just how proud the place would be, even so many years later. That said, this is a convenience store. It’s good if you run out of something. Snacks, chips, $ 49V batteries, milk… they got it. We thought that the people were rude at first. Then we realized they were just focused on playing Keno. Scott’s right – this is a good place to feed your vices. I was amazed that the Dunkin inside is just as busy as the full Dunkin’ Donuts just about a block away.

This place covers pretty much every vice(sans alcohol) and I’m so glad it is in my hood. All under the same roof you can get your Dunkin Donuts, your smokes, your lotto fix(including KENO which they have stools for the true junkie), Ritchies Italian slush and so much more. The guys who run it are really cool and if you really want something specific you can ask them to carry it and they’ll try to get it for you(that is if you are a regular like me, they carry Nat Shermans now because I asked them too). Plus how can you not love a place that name themselves after NKOTB. Hangin Tough.
