History

Established in 2010.

Our idea was to combine (former owner Tony of «Antonio Lavelles» and Cynthia D. of «Atory’s Hair Palace») our Unique hairstyles and Creative cuts to suit the needs of each customer. With a touch of our own perfection we started a unisex salon together called «Designer’z Cutz». We thought it would be imperative for clients to feel welcome. We wanted a pleasant and re– occurring relationship with our clients. We also wanted to give our employee’s a fair chance to express their creativity in a professional atmosphere.Co-Owners Tony and Cynthia have been cutting and styling hair for 12 years.

Meet the Business Owner

Cynthia D.

Business Owner

I’ve been around the business as a child. I am a second generation Stylist. Thanks to My father who owned a Barbershop, plus cut and styled hair for many years. I take every possible avenue to ensure all my clients’ experiences are met. I’m also known as the Hair-care specialist, specializing in all textures of hair. I attended Blaine’s Hair school in 1993 were I studied cosmetology. I move to Alabama in 1995 were I worked as an apprentice from 1997 – 1999. When I returned to Boston in 1999 I decided to pursue my career. After completing training I received my license in the summer of 1999. I Opened my first salon, Atory’s Hair Palace in Boston. I received my certifications and advanced training. To name a few, Keune, James wealthy, Cool C, All– Nutrient, Avalon, Indulge Academy. I have had exposure in local hair shows and hair magazines. My future dreams are to launch my own magazine, and product line, style celebrity hair, and to make custom wigs for cancer patients.
