History

Established in 2012.

Charles Wohr is the owner and trainer of Boston Unleashed. He grew up in Upstate New York surrounded by (and in some cases working with) animals and farms. He is a graduate of Syracuse University and has spent the last 10+ years living and working in Boston. After many years of working in the corporate world, Charles began a transition into a new career working with dogs (and their people).

Charles has spent the past couple of years working and learning with well respected and experienced positive reinforcement trainers and behaviorists throughout the Boston area. He is currently a trainer at Spring Forth Dog Services. Charles has interned and assisted classes at several Boston area dog training businesses. Charles has also volunteered with the Center for Shelter Dogs at the Animal Rescue League of Boston (ARL) helping to make shelter dogs more adoptable. He is currently in the process of becoming CPDT-​KA certified and is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT). Charles has taken courses through the Raising Canine Dog Training and Behavior program. Charles is committed to continuing his education and attends numerous workshops, conferences and seminars.
