The place is pretty, the people very kind and nice. They always have a special for blow dry in $ 20 so the price is great and my hair last intact until I wash it. I recommend it also for mani & pedi

This place is a joke. I received a gift certificate for a massage/pedi/mani from Groupon from a friend and I feel so bad but she wasted her money & I wasted my time!!. The worse mani/pedi I ever got in my entire life and the worse massage ever. I couldn’t wait to leave this place!!! Run away, don’t just walk away. TERRIBLE. Parking is a nightmare as well. No one speaks English. So unprofessional. The women in there are all doing services on themselves or each other and it’s just a complete joke. I don’t ever want to see this place again.

I’ve gotta say I love this place. From the minute you walk in you’re instantly greeted by the nice gentleman in the front desk. There’s a huge collection of nail polishes to choose from and they even offer you tea, coffee, water or wine. Everyone in there is really nice and welcoming. I usually get my nails done with Gaby — she’s amazing! My mom usually does them with Jackie and she loves them. I’ve never gotten my hair done here but my mom has and she always leaves very pleased. Mani & pedi is 20 bux — and you just can’t beat that. Especially in Doral. The Owner Ricardo is literally the kindest person ever with the best intentions to make your experience the best one you’ve had. I recommend Tranquility to everyone!

I had them recommend to me. I made an appointment and was canceled :30 minutes prior to my manicure/pedicure. How about calling earlier than that. Instead of when I was parking.

Loved it! Great service with great prices. It was raining when I was done with my hair and the manager saw I had no umbrella, he walk me out to my car so my hair will not get ruined! Will definitely be coming back.

I always come here for my Mani Pedis which have been flawless. They are quick and economical but the technicians work very thoroughly. The results are great and last for a while. A huge plus is that they open Sundays which is great for busy people. I’m very picky with manicures but this is definitely worth going. They also have massage chairs and offer you beverages. They also have great offers for blow drys. I got one for my anniversary and added curls with the flat iron and was very happy with the results. And even happier with my anniversary pictures :). There’s a lot of free parking around.

Someone needs to give them a thesaurus. Defiantly(yes, defiantly) not tranquil. I enjoyed this place for the first visit and this time I used a living social coupon for mani pedi and massage. It wasn’t horrible but it wasn’t close to great either. Lackluster effort begets lackluster results. I even declined the pedicure because I felt I wanted to get out of the building. It’s a shame because the place has promise but fails to deliver. Doubt I’ll return.

Came here with a Living Social. voucher I got for Mother’s day. Massage was ok. The voucher said 20 minutes steam barh with aromatherapy. But never got that. There was also a manicure and pedicure, coild not get the manicure because the. nail tech that does fills was not there. The nail tech that did my pedicure was ok. Too bad she kept on talking with the other nail tech about clients and other women that work in the salon. Not coming back to this place.

I use to LOVE going to this place for my hair and tanning but I have to admit it’s gone downhill. They do not clean the tanning beds after each use, which they should. Kind of turned me off. Place just doesn’t have that professional feel to it anymore. The woman who use to blow out my hair Josie, who was great, I think left and so I just stopped going altogether. I tan at my gym now for much less and where it’s clean.

Bought a deal on groupon for my gf and I. First and last time. The«sauna» was just turned on so it wasn’t even hot when I got in there. No sweat after 15 mins. Oh well. The massage was more of an oil rub down. I told the lady that harder was ok but no English so the oil rub continued. Ps. I hate when they start at my feet then work up. Of course that’s what was done. The mani pedi was pretty decent and it’s still holding strong after 3 days. I’d save your money, even groupon money and go somewhere else.

Love this place and you cannot beat the prices! Staff is friendly and fast. $ 20 mani/pedi, $ 35 gel mani/pedi and $ 20 blow dry! Jackie does my hair and she is so sweet and amazing. Mari is also great! Daime and Rebecca are who I’ve done my nails with and their fantastic.

After purchasing a Groupon deal for 60 minute massage, steam bath, and mani/pedi, I booked a visit to celebrate my birthday. This was not my first time here — I had a massage on another visit that was OK. But, the price was right, and I needed some serious bodywork. Scheduling was easy this time(it was miserable the last time), and the appointment was confirmed, so I was hopeful for a pleasant experience. I arrived ten minutes early to do any paperwork that was required, but there was none. I did find this odd, as it has been at least 3 years that I was there. Maybe they don’t require paperwork? Anyway, I was taken upstairs to the room by my massage therapist Sandra, and asked to get undressed. The massage was more like being oiled down, and not a therapeutic massage at all. The therapist was nice enough, but she had some sinus issues, so she snotted and sniffed throughout the session. At one point, she took a towel she has used to wipe the oil off my leg and wiped her nose. I was floored, and disgusted, but as the towel never made it back to my body, I didn’t freak out. What was CRAZIER than that is that Sandra ANSWEREDHERPHONE during my massage. It rang. She answered. WHAT?! Like other Unilocalers, I noticed that the massage only lasted 40 minutes — not 60. Boo-hiss. I was taken to the LOBBY, in my robe and pink slippers(size 7 — I wear an 11, so that was laughable), and waited in the LOBBY for 37 minutes to be ushered in the steam room. Can you say AWKWARD? Ladies — you have to figure out how to stagger appointments to avoid this. No one wants to sit naked in the lobby. The steam chamber was in a dark room at the back of the building, with an adjacent shower. I sat on a towel that was placed on the seat, but was not offered disposable panties, which is usual. .. In the steam room, the door bell DINGED and DONGED the entire ten minutes in the chamber. It was NERVE-WRACKING. Anyway, after the steam stopped, I jumped in the shower to rinse off. This is where I noticed some very very disgusting goings-ons in this area. The shower was FULLOFMOLD. The room where the steam chamber sits is VERYDARK, and you literally cannot see anything. So I pulled out my phone to take some pictures. I was APPALLED at what my phone captured. Mold and a filthy towel on the floor of the steam chamber. Someone else’s crusty PANTIES — ewwwwwwwwwww. A shared hairbrush and shower cap. Just all around gross. The mani-pedi was done by Rebecca(sp), who spoke no English, but she was pretty good. No foot/hand massage, though. I did get wine, to calm my nerves, and I pride myself on not causing a scene. I do not want to imagine what I may have missed in that massage room. I have resolved to just act like that part of my day didn’t happen. Tranquility — you have to do better. There is no excuse for NASTINESS.

I purchased a Groupon for $ 59.00 for both myself and my sister. I made the appointments well in advance, they only give you 10AM or 1PM to choose from. We chose 10AM. First and foremost, other than the receptionist at the front desk, who was not exceptionally friendly or accommodating — NOOTHEREMPLOYEESSPOKEENGLISH! I’m sure in Miami most patrons are not put off by that because they are bilingual but I’m not, not should I have to be. It is however my firm belief that ANYONE in ANYJOB dealing with the PUBLIC should be capable of speaking the language of the country that afforded them the ability to have the employment they do. Now for the rest; The«ritual steam bath» is basically a clear pod that you get in by yourself and apply the«scrub» to yourself and then rinse off in the shower after 10 – 15 min. To be a true spa experience they should apply the scrub to you and return when you’re done to let you know it’s shower time. You shouldn’t have to serve yourself and «wait until it beeps» to know that part of the treatment is done. I can’t even call it a service because you don’t apply the products on yourself when you’re getting a true«spa service». Next the massage, both of our masseuses seemed like they were still in school, mine actually took a phone call on her private cell phone while she was massaging me. As my sister said she thought that my 10 year old niece was her instructor! Lastly I guess they were backed up in the nail area, because my sister and I didn’t even get to sit in the same room together. Her technician didn’t even put on a base coat or perform other manicure basics, it’s been 3 days and her polish has already come off almost entirely! My nails were comprised already because I had acrylics soaked off the day before I went. In her defense at least my technician followed the proper manicure protocol and the polish on my nails(they ones that haven’t broken) still looks good. Overall I’d have to say even @ $ 59.00 it wasn’t worth it and I had purchase two more for future — even though I still have $ 59.00 to apply toward future services and they’re regular pricing was affordable; the experience and location set-up was so bad, I think I’ll just scrap that idea! As the rating says, EEEKKKK, me thinks not!!!

BEWARE!!! I repeat BEWARE! Waste of my money and time! The only reason why I’m rating this with one star is because the nail lady was nice. I made an appointment and initially the front desk was sweet and professional. They called me the day of my appointment and left a message that their appointment cancelled and if I would like to come in earlier. I called back to say that I could and another lady answered the phone and said perfect. I arrived there at 3:30(my original appt was at 4:30) the front desk said I was super early and my appointment was at 4:30. She then made me wait 15 mins and said they can take me. The groupon included a steam bath, mani/pedi and a ONEHOUR massage. 1st of the steam bath did not work. I sat in it for 20 mins and also told the lady that it wasn’t on and she insisted it was working. Then after 20 mins to go get me realized it was not. 2nd the Mani/pedi lady was nice but gave me the worst Mani and pedi I ever got. She did not scrub nor take off my cuticles. 3rd the massage was 35mins!!! Let me repeat 35 ‘ins!!! I paid for a one hour massage. On top of that the massage was horrible, the worst I’ve gotten. Felt like she just rubbed oil on my body. I couldn’t even complain because no one spoke Spanish so I didn’t even have the energy to argue. This place is so unprofessional, did not have a spa feeling, barely communicated in English and definitely need more training! I paid 20% tip just because I am nice like that, but never ever am I going back there.

I’ve been coming to this place for about two years now, and I really used to enjoy it. I really didn’t want to write this review, but felt it was necessary. My mother bought me a groupon for my birthday two years ago and we were hooked. We would come about once a month because the owner gave my mom and I the groupon price, because with groupon they make next to nothing. The owner USED to be really nice, would give me a hug and kiss when my mom and I would come in, and offer us all kinds of drinks. This is where it makes a turn for the worst. They have this little machine that you check in and get points with. With those points you get free stuff. I went in with my moms points to redeem a free mani/pedi and tan session. My mom even called and they said it was okay. When I arrived they told me I couldn’t use the mani/pedi, but I used the tanning. When I asked the girl how much the m/p would be she told me 30, but would give it to me for 20. So I went and did my nails and everything was dandy. Then I went for my tanning session. The owner offered me tanning lotion for the tanning bed. When I finished and went to go pay, the owner charged me for tanning lotion 30 for the mani/pedi. Are you freaking kidding me?! I’ve been coming here for a while and had a good relationship with this woman. When I told my mom what had happened, she went and confronted the owner on her next visit. The owner ignored my moms complains and stormed off and said loudly«I need to get rid of this stupid machine» while she was in the middle of her sentence to go answer the phone and ignored my mother the to rest of the time she was there. After this incident, we’ve decided to take our money elsewhere to a better spa. Customer service is very important to me, as I am in the hospitality business myself, and I feel like this situation was handled poorly. If a business is offering points to redeem for free things, it’s only right that they honor them. They were just being cheap and didn’t want to lose out on money. Take your money elsewhere, it’s not worth it here.
