La Ruota Italian Cuisine & Pizzeria

Buen sitio y buena comida, su especialidad es la comida italiana, pero en realidad todos sus platos son deliciosos, tuve la oportunidad de probar en está ocasión la lasagna la cual estaba muy buena, y salmón con espárragos que estaba muy delicioso, les recomiendo el fettucine a la ruota que lo preparan al lado de la mesa

Very good place. A bit of a blend of Italian and Latin but what do you expect in Miami! The special of the house is the La Ruota fettuccine alfredo prepared in a big cheese roll (I will add a pic). One of our party ordered it and it was very, very good. Appetizers were great and we had a tuna tartar that was AWESOME. I have read good reviews of the bruschetta and I may need to go back just for that. I had the chicken piccata and it was good — not great, my partner had a risotto that she loved. My last companion had a seafood special she was pleased with also. The desserts were very good, maybe great. The tiramisu stands up to the dish anywhere nationally and the dessert crêpe was super also. On the weekends (at least the Saturday we were there) they have music where a Latin piano and lounge singer are performing covers and they were very good. The service was solid. Wine list was very good. Bar selection was sub par (they did not have any whiskey!). La Ruota is a do again for me and a definite recommend.

I had been craving pasta carbonara for about a month before we found this place. I finally satisfied the craving yesterday at La Routa and it was delicious. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the lasagne my boyfriend ordered was super cheesy. The bruschetta was my favorite part of dinner, especially since they bake their own bread. The server was very friendly, tentative and professional, and the owner shook our hands when we arrived, which was very nice. Oh! And they have an awesome beer list which includes a nice selection of craft beers. Overall we had great food, great service and great drinks in a very nice atmosphere for an affordable price. We’ll definitely be back.

Drove all the way here because it said it was open until midnight (it is Thursday 10:30pm) and most places close at 11pm the latest. Only to find out that it was closed. Absolutely nobody inside so you can tell they closed way earlier. Oh well, we just went to the «parillada familiar da silva» restaurant in the same plaza. Please change your times to avoid confusion

We dined here last night and had a wonderful meal. When we travel, we enjoy family owned restaurants and look for unique experiences. I had the French Onion soup and the chicken piccata and my friend had the beef carpaccio and the sesame crusted tuna. We both enjoyed the food and presentation. The service was excellent and the live piano added a wonderful touch. I would have given it five stars except that I thought the décor was not as warm as I would have liked. I like dark rooms with intimate seating and this was a open space with more light than I like. I would go back again though. The owner was charming and visited every table and made sure we were happy.

We did not plan to go in but me and my family were passing by and we decided to go in. The service was great, we went in and we got sat in a second, the server constantly checked up on us and the food came fairly fast brought by the chef that came to say hi. The food is a ⁵⁄₅. Service ⁵⁄₅. Place ⁵⁄₅.

They make a delicious pasta dish inside a wheel of parm. Very cool experience!

I’m so happy they expanded. The food is very, very good and both the staff and the owners are super friendly — they make you feel at home. Sometimes they have live music and it adds to the chill ambiance of the restaurant. Doral needs more places like this!!!

I do not recommend this place, honestly I understand the place is new and everything is working on the go!!! But come on!!! the service was terrible (just 4 costumer in the entire restaurant and they take more than 30 minutes to serve a entrance!!!) food was average and prices to high! I mean if you are new on the area you have to be competitive!

Amazing place. Great beer selection with amazing pizza. Best quality ingredients, my recommendation would be Parma pizza. I have it every week.

I do not recommend this place. There are way better options at Doral for italian food. I ordered a linguini a la ruota and it was OK. My husband had a parmigian chicken and it was not even close to the one I make. My kid had a pizza and was regular too.
Take it from someone who knows Italian cooking this place is mediocre. The service was regular and the prices are waaaay to expensive for the so so food they make. The check was for $ 90.
I will never go back.

I enjoyed quite a pleasant dinner at La Ruota for the first time this past weekend. Service was friendly and timely. Our party dined on Fettucine Alfredo ala Ruota which was creamy and flavorful, served with Prosciutto. My favorite was Pizza Principessa, thin crust with sun dried tomatoes, mushrooms and goat cheese. Absolutely delicious! Can’t wait to try more of their dishes.

We ordered delivery. Awesome pizza! So far, the best in Doral that we’ve tried. The lasagna was quite a healthy portion.
We’re definitely going to order from them again!
