Delicious Steak…
As a truck driver I layover here in Sumiton from Florida twice a week. Got a craving for a ribeye tonight, but didn’t feel like making a 20 mile drive to the nearest steakhouse. After a phone call I was pleasantly surprised to hear that Lee’s has ribeye on their menu, I ordered for pickup. A few minutes later I arrived and my meal was ready. Dinner was fantastic! Very flavorful, fork-​cut tender ribeye, home cut fries, and a side salad… served up to go with bread, silverware, and condiments. I’m very happy with my experience here at Lee’s. Great food, great service at a great price.
I will be back!

I may have caught them on a bad day .but it’s just average at best. the green beans was the highlight of the meal. the corn bread was very dry

I was just back at work after a week on vacation. Sick of eating out but didn’t have groceries to pack a lunch. I was actually looking for another restaurant I had bookmarked on Unilocal but after driving around for several miles I couldn’t find the place and «settled» on trying this big restaurant off Hwy 78.
They had a great selection for meat and 3.
I ordered the hamburger steak, purple hull peas, creamed potatoes, and vegetable soup with Mexican cornbread.
Turns out I didn’t settle for anything but wonderful! Tasted like a home-​cooked meal that was desperately needed.
If I was being really picky I’d say that the soup was a little more «tomato-​y» than I prefer but everything else more than made up for that minor flaw.
The Mexican cornbread was spicy and buttery and very memorable.
It was a lot of food for only 6.75 plus tax. I thought I was going to save some for lunch the next day but it was so good it disappeared before my very eyes. Oops.
They have that good Red Diamond sweet tea too if y’all are feeling Southern.
Even for a late lunch the place had a lot of patrons. The two waitresses were running their booties off to serve everyone and doing a great job.
FYI, since there are no other reviews I feel inclined to say that they also serve breakfast. Saturdays are all you can eat breakfast buffet. Saturday nights they have a dinner theater and it’s a flat rate for a buffet dinner.
