Historic Log Cabin Inn

The Historic Log Cabin Inn was an absolute surprise and complete treasure during a recent trip to the Laurel Highlands area. This stunning log cabin has been refurbished by the owner, Judy and the results are spectacular. I can’t tell you the last time I bathed in a new claw-​foot tub but I can tell you that I now spend at least 10 minutes every hour dreaming about it. From the original designs, to the comfortable beds to the comfort you simply feel within the home, the Historic Log Cabin Inn will be worth a trip back for us. Additionally, the owner, Judy was fantastic. She was warm and inviting, able to answer all of our questions and genuinely a delight to chat with (not to mention a great cook specializing in organic and local produce). She let us go about our way, never making us feel that we were being checked in on or that we had to be in the Inn by a certain time. It was an absolute 10 all the way.
In a town washed in ski resorts, this was by far the better choice. The price was right and the service was spot on. I really do look forward to making the return to Judy and the Historic Log Cabin Inn sometime soon.
