A landmark in Dobbs Ferry and the Rivertowns with very knowledgeable staff who really know their customers’ tastes. Need a gift for a local? They’ll know what she drinks.
A stead stream of commuters walking home each evening from the train station make their way to this charming shop in Dobbs’ traditional downtown. Locals passing by are on alert for the «Tasting Today» sandwich board sign, featuring vintners and distillers both domestic and international. And no need to carry more than a bottle or two home in your bicycle basket or backpack, since Rochambeau delivers!

The absolute «go to» place if you’re looking to purchase a nice bottle of wine or spirits. A finely curated, diverse selection in all price ranges, with an extremely knowledgable, friendly staff that has never steered me wrong.
Let them know what you’re looking for and how much you’d like to spend, and I dare you to be disappointed. Also, one of the best assortments of small batch Whiskies, Gins, & Vodkas that I’ve seen, anywhere. If you’re looking to get a bottle of something for a gift, I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
And no, I don’t work there, it’s just really that good : —)

I called Jeff W. at Rochambeau Wines & Liquors this morning in a virtual panic. I needed a fine bottle of wine delivered to a client up in Dobbs Ferry, and I needed delivered instantly. Jeff sprang into action. He selected a very nice Cakebread Red Wine, and because his delivery person was out on another delivery, commissioned the Pizza Delivery Guy next door to deliver the wine to my client, along with a fresh pizza pie! The wine was wrapped exquisitely, and he even made sure I remembered to include a card. Jeff, you went above and beyond the call of duty. Thank you so much for your expedient, outstanding service.
