Specialties
Pottery-on-Hudson offers pottery classes to children, teens and adults. Students learn both handbuilding and wheelthrowing in a spacious studio. We are a well equipped studio, with wheels, extruder, slab roller, plus tools to help you execute your ideas. We offer and encourage adult students to come in during open studio and practice what they learned in class.
Our philosophy is to encourage students to execute their individual ideas and projects. We believe the best way to do that is to teach pottery techniques through demonstrations and then help students with their individual interests, whether that is through handbuilding or wheelthrowing.
History
Established in 2004.
Since Pottery-on-Hudson was established in March, 2004, we have taught pottery to children, teens and adults from throughout the Westchester area. The studio is located in a large old warehouse building and has huge windows which allow for great lighting in the working area.
