History

Established in 1983.

Affordables was started by a mom in the basement of her home as a children’s clothing exchange and gradually grew to become a full-​fledged children’s consignment shop with a complete line of baby and children’s clothing, baby gear, toys and maternity. Affordables has been in its current location for 20 years and has over 14,000 active customers and consignors in its data base. Affordables is a true destination place attracting people from the tri-​state area, all of New York City and of course, the river towns where it all began.
