When my boyfriend and I moved into these apartments(a little over 4 years ago) these apartments were great. The manager was Dan at the time and he kept the place up nice and we never had a complaint. When the apartment’s owner changed so did the manager, as did the service, as did the cleanliness. Ever since the new owners took over, the apartments have been filthy, maintenance is horrible, and on top of that they raised our rent! There is always trash everywhere, the wash room never seems to get cleaned, and tenants leave their trash bags out on their porch with no one telling them to throw it away. We have had several complaints and maintenance requests go unanswered. The customer service is very horrible and don’t even get me started on the current manager… Needless to say these apartments are not an ideal place to live, and that’s putting it in the nicest way possible.

My wife and I currently live here and are about to move out. We first moved here in July 2011 after trying to find a place that was both affordable and half way between Travis AFB where I work and Sacramento where she works. Meadowood Village has been an overall great experience for us. Dan, the apartment manager, has just been great with any need we’ve ever had! From day 1 he was very helpful and hospitable, and he is always willing to go the extra mile. Maintenance keeps the complex pretty clean and is very responsive to fixing issues in both our apartment and in public areas. My only negatives are that tons of kids live around here, and it can get noisy in the evenings with them running around outside. Also, if there are smokers around, they tend to congregate near stairs or out on their porch, causing the smell to seep into other apartments(i’m a non smoker). Relative to the price range, I give this apartment 5 stars for sure. Do not that the company managing the apartment complex is changing soon, so that may change the way things are done, but I have no complaints so far.

I have lived at this apartment complex since March 2010 and this has by far been the best experience I have had renting an apartment. For starters, the apartments are newly remodeled, granite counter tops, new appliances, hardwood floors, nice carpet in the rooms and tile in the bathrooms. And despite that, the rent is reasonable compared to others in town. The apartment manager Dan is the best! He is always very helpful, courteous and very accommodating. If you have a problem he is right on it. The gentleman in charge of maintenance, Shawn is also very nice and is always out and about making sure the complex looks great, the pool is clean and taking care of any issues in the units. I’ve had him come by a couple times to take care of things and even when we are not home he makes sure my girls(cats) don’t escape while he was in there(which is very important to me). Overall if you are looking for a place in Dixon, look no further as this is(in my opinion) the best complex in town!
