Captain Morgan’s Delta Adventures

This is the second cruise we have done with the Captain and his crew and the cruise did not disappoint! They go out of their way to ensure that all have a good time! The food, music, scenery, drinks and company are fabulous! I could not recommend this company and the service they provide more. We have already signed-​up for the 4^th of July cruise and intend to come back for the holiday light cruise.

Awesome crew and awesome boat, scenic route for a nice get away in CA. We got in to boat last minute bcoz some body did not show up on valentines day. My family enjoyed it. Same one cost 250 $ in hawaii. I will recommend this boat ride to all my frdz

Sorry to buck the consensus but I have to be honest about our experience. Went for the Christmas Light cruise with a group of 30+ people. Captain Morgan, his crew, and his boat were fabulous and very accommodating. We had a good time although there weren’t nearly as many Christmas lights as I expected there would be — not his fault but disappointing just the same for a cruise hyped as a Christmas Light cruise. However my biggest disappointment was with his BYOB policy. While they have a no-​host bar with very reasonably priced drinks we were told that you can bring your own bottle of wine for which they only charge a very modest $ 10 corkage fee. Knowing that we brought along a decent bottle of Champagne. However when we were boarding they took away our bottle. Apparently the Captain, for some inexplicable reason, doesn’t consider Champagne to be wine! When we asked about his reasoning for this, he gave the excuse was that some people take advantage of his policy by bringing magnums of Champagne and so they don’t spend any money at the bar. NEWS FLASH Captain Morgan! Red and white wines also comes in Magnum sized bottles! When restaurants quote their corkage fee policy they almost always qualify it by stating that the fee is for a, 750 ltr bottle. Of course they gave us back our bottle at the end of our cruise but after this rude surprise we refused to spend any money buying drinks from him. Hey, $ 10 would have been better then nothing at all and we would have been more favorable to buying more drinks if he hadn’t resorted to such an arbitrary bait-​and-​switch policy.

We tried Captain Morgan’s cruise and it was a very good time. Great music, good atmosphere, amazing value and when we arrived back in Discovery Bay it included dinner which was also very good. We will definitely do this again.

$ 10 for a tiny kahlua and hot chocolate. Insultingly stingy with their vodka cranberries. Far too many people cramped into that houseboat, i count at least 25, probably more.

This was actually my second time on the RoseMarie with Captain Morgan. I went on a Photographer’s outing and liked it so much I wanted to share the great experience with 23 of my best friends in my car club. So we took an awesome drive through the Delta and ended in Discovery Bay and went out with the Captain and his crew for 2 hours. Everyone raved about what a great time they had. Highly recommend going with the company. Thanks for a great day!!!

A great way to spend time with your family and friends. Captain Morgan and crew take great pride into making sure your adventure runs smoothly and you have the time of your life. Not to mention that the boat, The RoseMarie, is a first class vessel that boasts all the comforts of home. Love cruising with you guys. Thank you Frank and Melinda for providing the community with a way for those of us that do not have the means to enjoy the beauty of the delta.

Captain Morgan’s Delta Adventure was awesome! We went on the 3 night Meadows adventure in June of this year. The boat was fabulous and the staff — Captain Morgan, his Wench and the first mate made our vacation very memorable from the great hospitality, the wonderful accommodations and the very tasty meals and snacks provided, all inclusive in the price. GREAT VALUE! — I would recommend this to anyone looking for a unique and fun adventure.

Thank you Captain Morgan and crew for a magical night out on the Delta! We rented the boat for a sunset «Happy Engagement» cruise. Everything met and exceeded our expectations! Beautiful boat, fantastic crew, flexible, fun, hospitable, super organized… it was a perfect evening! We received so many compliments from our guests, «best engagement party EVER»!! I would highly recommend them for any party /​adventure you may be planning.

We had the pleasure of going to dinner via Captain Morgan’s houseboat on a beautiful night in the Delta. We were very impressed with Captain Morgan and his ability to smoothly navigate the houseboat along the Delta waters. It was a lively atmosphere, yet very relaxing. This is a great way to gather your friends and family, see the Delta and enjoy the views. I highly recommend booking a trip with Captain Morgan’s houseboat on the waters of the Delta and the Sacramento River.

My husband and I plus 4 other friends went on a 4 day trip with Captain Morgan and his wonderful crew at the beginning of June. We travel quite a bit and this trip was one we will highly recommend to others. The Sacramento River Delta is a beautiful, peaceful place that I’ve always wanted to explore. Everything about the trip exceeded our expectations: from the comfort and spaciousness of the houseboat, the wildlife we saw (a beaver and a raccoon to name just 2), the delicious meals they prepared for us, to how well we slept. It all was so relaxing, just what a vacation is supposed to be! I also loved hanging out at the beach where we docked, going for rides on the speedboat, and visiting the very old town of Locke. It was well worth the price, and we owe a huge thank-​you to the Captain and Melinda and Nicole. Good day, mates!
