History

Established in 2004.

Sara E. Mummert, M.V.B. has over 20 years experience in the pet care industry. Dr. Sara has seen and helped thousands of pets and is at the heart of Timberview. For anyone who is not aware, Dr. Sara is now married and just changed her name to Dr. Sara Mummert recently. (M.V.B. is a Veterinary Degree from University Dublin, Ireland where Dr Sara went to Veterinary School). Dr. Sara began working at Timberview Veterinary Hosptial while at Messiah College seeking her Undergraduate degree, learning all area from receptionist, to appointment technician, up to surgery technician prior to earning her Veterinary License. She decided to return to Timberview, as a Veterinarian, after gaining experience with other practices in central PA and purchased the practice a few years later in 2004.

Sara E Mummert, MVB (or Dr. Sara as she is best know), purchased Timberview Veterinary Hospital in 2004. She has developed Timberview into one of Central PA’s most distinguished companion animal hospitals over these past several years. In 2010, Timberview moved into its own new facility, designed by Dr. Sara herself. Laser Surgery, Digital X-​Ray, Paper-​light computer software and friendly staff are just a few of the differences found at Timberview. Come see for yourself. You are definitely invited!
