Mackey Mechanical is a family owned air conditioning and heating company founded in 1992 by Michael and Diane Mackey. We work on both residential and commercial property from Houston to Galveston.

History

Established in 1992.

Mike Mackey has been in the HVAC business since he was a junior in high school as a helper in 1976, he then worked summers for a large company in Waco while attending Baylor University on a full ride football scholarship and majoring in business management from 1978 – 1982. He returned in Dickinson in 1984 and went to work for a local company until starting Mackey Mechanical in 1992. We have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau and take great pride in creating a trustworthy and reliable relationship with thousands of customers over the last 20+ years.

Business Owner

Michael and Diane married in 1980, had children in 1983, 1987 and 1993. Michael attended Baylor University, played football and worked summers for an a/​c-​heat company in Waco. Diane attended McLennan Community College while working full time in the banking industry. Michael & Diane are both active in the community, volunteering for Youth Baseball, Little League baseball, Youth football, Project Graduation, Dickinson ISD Education Foundation and School Board, Friends of the Dickinson Library and many other activities. Mackey Mechanical started in 1992 with 2 helpers and now employs a staff of 13 technicians, installers and office staff. Mackey Mechanical is proud of the A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau, thousands of satisfied customers and the relationships built over the years.
