History

Established in 1958.

The legacy of Alfonso Property Management began in 1958, when Carl D. Alfonso, a Gulfport native and local businessman, began a real estate sales career. After distinguishing himself as a sales associate and manager, Carl founded Alfonso Realty with his wife, Tommye. They were joined by their daughter, Carlene, who procured the company upon their retirement and was soon joined in the family business by Walter Ketchings, a successful commercial broker from Natchez, Mississippi and Carlene’s husband.

Today, Alfonso Property Management is one of the largest property management companies on the Mississippi Gulf Coast with 4 offices and multiple listings, providing full service for residential and commercial rentals. Since the early years with Carl and Tommye, the firm has strived to make home ownership a reality for Gulf Coast families and is dedicated to demonstrating the highest standards.
