I had fairly long eyelashes before and I never think of doing any eyelash extension and I had absolutely no idea of what I can do with my lashes. Joanne had fantastic ideas of matching eyelashes. I tried using different hairs, thickness and different layers under her hand. They all worked out very good on me especially for the thicker one. Also, the eyelashes extension lasts very long. It lasted up to 2 months last time and my eyes do not get very uncomfortable after the eyelashes extension. I would highly recommend doing eyelashes extension here either u have long or short eyelashes.

I’ve been coming to Adella for years now! Absolutely love her and don’t trust anyone but her, when it comes to my eyebrows :) I recommend you bring cash because there’s an extra charge with card.

Disappointed, I’ve been going to Adele for years. She has always done an amazing job. Today she tore up my skin, within a minute of her threading I had blood drips and torn skin, along with red bump all around my forehead and eyebrows.(I understand this happens when u thread the hairs backwards, that is what she told me) I’m guessing that’s what happen, but as a professional she didnt take care of me. I’m not sure if it’s new ownership and materials, except it’s only thread. Long time customer very unhappy.

After my bff got her lashes done for her wedding, my desire to hop into the bandwagon grew even more. But I wasn’t ready to dump $ 300 – 400 for lashes. Then here comes Joanne to the rescue. Under a friend’s recommendation, I decided to let go of my fear(what if they don’t do it right?) and give Joanne total authority to do her thing. Long story short, I like how Joanne listens to her customers but is not afraid to add in her suggestions. My lashes are very natural look and have received compliments from my friends. :) The major up is looking so much more awake even without any make up. Sure it takes some work to maintain them, but beauty does come with effort. Tips: *Do some research or talk to friends who have done it for some ideas before committing *have some ideas on what kind of look you’re interested in(long, short, natural, semi dramatic) *bring contact lenses and glasses *cash or check The location is in a plaza I frequent. Go make an appt with Joanne, stretch, and grab lunch with your gf or date and wait for those compliments. ;)

This review is for Joanne for my AHH-mazing eye lash extensions! I wanted something very natural looking, so it looks like I was just born with naturally full and long lashes(not as if I had my lashes done) and Joanne did just that for me. She listened attentively to what I wanted and the process was so relaxing! My lashes turned out so wonderful that I don’t even need to apply eye makeup most days. I have received so many compliments on my lashes since I’ve gotten them done, and they are still holding on strong after three weeks!

I’ve pondered about getting eyelash extensions, but never really committed to it until recently! If you’re considering eyelash extensions, Joanne is your go-to professional! I wanted a little«extra» for my lashes while keeping it looking as natural as possible. Joanne genuinely listens to what style you want and helps you achieve the look. Joanne also thoroughly explains how to care for your lashes and answers any questions you may have. The process was easy and painless. The first look after it’s done is priceless! I love my lashes. They are exactly what I envisioned and more. They look so natural and effortless yet add an extra sparkle to my eyes. I usually wear light eye makeup but haven’t been needing to since I got these gorgeous extensions!

I came here for Joanne last Friday for eyelash extension. I was very nervous before I walked in. After talking Joanne, I feel so much better about getting the extension. Joanne is a very nice and patient lady who does beauty services in the salon. She answers my questions throughout the process and was very gentle with my lashes as well. I was very happy with the result and the extension made my eyelashes look longer and thicker.

Look for Tina. She gave me straight perm/keratin treatment/hair straightening whatever you want to call it. She was very patient and did not rush at all until i achieved my straight hair. She is the best.

I LOVE Adella, but she now charges $ 15 for eyebrows! I have been going to her for years, and before her, I was going to the other woman who had worked there. Not that long ago, it was $ 10, which I still didn’t mind paying. Part of me wants to learn how to do it myself, all things considered. I suppose you pay for what you get, but nearly $ 20(including tip) is a bit steep in my opinion. If she didn’t do such a good job, I would give a far lower rating. She also doesn’t accept credit cards, so if you go, bring cash.

I had my first digital perm by Tina and I love it. I now want to try different types of curls next time. I have a lot of hair and it is thick! I know how hard it is to do my hair yet Tina patiently washed, layered, styled and curled each strand of my hair to make sure the curls turn out nicely and they sure did. I walked over to the super market in the plaza afterwards and I swear so many people turned to look. Some girls even came up to me to tell me my curls are really pretty-this had never happened before. I only wish I had gone to Tina sooner. see the Unilocal photos for Tina’s number. It is best to call to book an appointment with her. She can get busy.

My son had an appointment with Roger, his friend got a recent cut and my son wanted to try it. It came out awful, he got an edging and it was too far cut. Later I spoke to Roger about it and he told me he knew it wasn’t going to come out good but he did what my son wanted him to do(my son is 12) and that it would grow out in a few weeks. I was upset that he took that attitude, everyone else at the salon knew he screwed up and yet he couldn’t apologize or try to fix it. I had gone there for eyebrows with Adella and hair with Faye and made the decision to never return to this shop. The owner stood there speechless while I was talking to Roger and as the owner I felt she should have spoken up. If your a client of this salon, stay clear away from Roger.

I use to go here only for the convenience but Adela is rude and she doesn’t follow what you want. She does what she wants to do. She will also deny you service if she doesn’t feel like doing it. I would go in for a haircut and she doesn’t listen to a single thing I say and now my hair isn’t even the same length. My eyebrows are now different shapes and she insults me by saying I should get other things threaded when I don’t need to. I know she’s trying to make business but that’s not how you do it. There are other hairstylists there which you should go to instead but I do not recommend Adela.

I’m Faye’s returned customer. She was too busy that couldn’t take me as walk-in so referred me to Tina. Love Tina ’ s service. She is very friendly and super pro. Did an outstanding job on my hair. Will definitely recommend and return. Thanks Tina!

Terrible work. Middle eastern woman threaded my eyebrows and didn’t even touch between them. Stray hairs under my brows. $ 10? Not worth it.

Sometimes this place is a 2, and other times this place is a 4. As a result, my review deems it a 3. I’ve gone to this place for about two years now, and I visit about every other month to get my eyebrows done. The one lady that threads is a bit inconsistent with the quality of her work. Some days, I go home fully satisfied with my eyebrows. Other days, I find myself having to pluck missed hairs and fix the shape. My visit today was unfortunately unsatisfying. Adella(lady that does eyebrows) missed a lot of hairs so I had to fix it myself. Also, first she raised her price from $ 8 to $ 10, and now she won’t even accept card as payment… She told me that they no longer have the machine, but I’m guessing that was a fib, because I doubt any salon can function without a credit card machine. Thankfully, I’m heading to college soon so I will rarely need to return here to get my eyebrows done!

Went in for my first time to get my upper lip and lower? lip threaded only. (I refuse to ever thread my brows. It’s just very inaccurate and they try to get you in and out quickly. Not this place specifically. Just any threading salon) There seemed to be only one artist for hair removal. She was able to accommodate me right away. Very sweet lady, although I never got her name. The process actually hurt less than what I’m used to. She must have a gentle touch. It was pretty quick and easy. I mean you can’t really mess up on upper lip threading. She did miss a few tiny hairs. Could be because I was wearing foundation so she wasn’t able to see the hairs well. But no big deal, I just plucked em out myself when I got home. Cost me $ 6+tip Right by my house so I’ll be back for my weekly clean up!

Grew out my eye brows and finally got them threaded. They came out great and the middle eastern lady was sweet BUT she wanted CASHONLY! Ughhh ! So my hubby had to go out of the way to get cash at a nearby 7Eleven. Not cool. She seemed have a good amount of clientele which seems to show her expertise just don’t forget cash:/

The priciest threading I’ve been to at $ 10. The lady always takes too much off no matter what I tell her. Also it hurts a lot, sometimes to the point of bleeding. Finally found a different threading place at beauty Bazaar. Recommend people go there.

Just met Adella today and walked away with a great hair cut! I found her shop on Unilocal while looking for brow threading. Happy to say she’s pretty fab at hair too!

Wow! I never got my eyebrows done before. I always do them myself. But one day I woke up and I noticed they were a complete mess so I opt for a professional. There are a lot of places that had decent reviews but I decided to go with Total Image. I went right after work about 5:30 ish and was greeted by a very friendly woman name Adella. She took me in right away with no problem. I can see that a lot of regulars come in to get their hair done because everyone was talking to each other comfortably. After about a couple minutes she was finished. There was absolutely no pain/redness and my eyebrows looked great! She got some hair on my forehead also(I know. i hate it!). I don’t know much about eyebrows but she says I don’t need to pencil them in since they are thick enough. Adella was so patient with me with all my questions and made sure I heart my eyebrows before I got out of the chair. Eyebrow threading is $ 8, but be nice and leave a tip!
