Love this spot! After work, I’m able to watch every sporting event since Oak Tree carries every network. NFL Sunday Ticket, Pac 12 Network, TWC Dodgers, and so on! Also, drink specials & great food everyday. Great events including Bands, Dj’s & local Fundraisers. Plenty of pool tables & great atmosphere with the local regulars like myself. :) So come on down to check it out! «Shaky» Dave Lomba

It’s next to the Oak Tree Lane bowling alley and a few things around such as; Denny’s, KFC, McDonald’s, 7– Eleven, and gas stations other than that there is nothing much going on… This place has been around. It’s divey and super casual. People who come here are not looking for posh or trendy! There are darts and pool tables. The bartender and crowd are super laid back and easy. It’s that simple and gets the job done! Came here to bowl on a whim and got here before the group so decided to go in for a drink! Affordable, strong taste, and fast!

We call it the Tree House. This is where Diamond Bar goes for a cheap, friendly dive bar. well because there ain’t much to do in the DBC. It is no secret that cheap drinks makes for a good dive bar. It is no secret that a stiff drink makes for a good dive bar. It is no secret that a friendly bartender makes for a good dive bar. Since, those aren’t any secrets, the Tree House puts all those traits together and easily is the best bar in Diamond Bar. On a Thursday night, my and a buddy came in. I asked the bartender if they had any specials. She told me that margaritas were only $ 2.50. She also added, that she makes a damn good margarita because she makes drinks that she would want to drink. SOLD! Hot Damn, was she right! A stiff, yet delicious margarita that had me on my ass. Since Diamond Bar doesn’t have a lot going on, I could proudly proclaim it was the best margarita in Diamond Bar. I wanted everyone to know it, too. Soon, I was like Oprah…“You get a margarita! You get a Margarita! Look under your seats, everyone gets a margarita!” Then, I got my tab…$ 20! They have dartboards of the future. They are rad and probably invented by Doctor Emmitt Brown’s Korean cousin. If you are an avid dart player, don’t forget your darts… the house darts suck… Although i could still«Color of Money» hustle you with them. Cheap, stiff, friendly. The Tree House gets it. And I get it every time I am back home in Diamond Barrio.

My friends and I used to go to the bowling alley next door but lately we’ve been coming here for drinks and darts. All pretty cheap. They advertise drink specials that can be as low as $ 2 a beer or $ 3 for a woo woo or rum and Pepsi. It never really gets all that crowded in there so service is always really quick. They also have pool tables but I don’t recall playing so I can’t say whether or not the tables were good to play on. There are at least 4 dart machines and each time I’ve been there, they were empty. The jukebox is ridiculous. It costs $ 1 for 2 credits and most of the current songs are… 2 credits. Ultimately, this bar is a little bit divey, but it’s great for playing darts and getting some cheap drinks.

This place is real chill. I came here late in the evening with a meetup group for some drinks and for billiards, which was very cheap. The interior is really big and there are many pool tables upstairs. You can get a good view of the ground floor and the TV screen from upstairs. The bar is downstairs, which served drinks and free pop corn. There may not be much in terms of ambiance nor something the«hip» young crowd would readily gravitate towards, this place has a sense of an old school bar, with wooden stairs and almost a retro 80’s feel. The place is right next to a bowling alley, which is a plus. And, of course, plenty of parking. If you have a big group, this place is quite spacious. There’s no doubt that the regulars feel right at home here as it’s not too loud(at least when I was there) and everything about this place feel very chill.

What a great find!!! My colleague recommended we come here for an after work drink… it’s a bar next door to the bowling alley. We walked in and there were 2 – 3 people sitting at the bar and a table with a couple guys. Don’t expect any kind of ambiance or people watching at this bar — this is truly a dive bar. We ordered a Newcastle and Blue Moon(both on draft!) and some snacks(chicken strips and fries and some good ‘ol nachos). Our bill came to less than $ 30 including tip for 4 beers and the two appetizers. Now that is what I call a Happy Hour!

I had a friend that just bought a house in Phillips ranch so I looked up a place where we could shoot some pool and this place poped up. First off Im gonna say I like pool hall and I mean pool halls, not bars that have pool tables. This place is more of a bar that has tables. Their tables suck. The felt is bad and the wall arent good. We even played ona table where the light was diaganol to the table. So on that note when I called them and ask if they have pool tables, I should of asked if they are a pool hall. My fault. not theirs. I will not be coming back because the drinks werent even cheap, and the table wasnt cheap either. The cues are that of a bar. So yea.

Met two of my sisters here last night for some after work unwind time. The place itself is in serious need of an update starting with the carpet that I think was the cause of the musty moldy smell that hit you as soon as you walked in. The average age of the patrons here appeared to be about 60. The bartender was great and knows how to make a good drink. Pub food was mediocre. There were two kids there(ages looked to be about 7 and 5) who I think had no business being inside a bar. Granted we were only there for about 2.5 hours but the overall impression I got was«dive bar with a bowling alley attached». Service was friendly, drinks were good, but if you’re looking for a more professional or upscale ambiance, this place is not it.

Ugh, this place can start just ok and end sad. It’s old and run down and prices aren’t great. They do have a decent amount of billiards and the biggest positive is that it’s a place to continue after an hour of bowling. We last went there on a Friday night and all I have to say is you can only listen to bad karaōke for so long.

I have been going to this place for years, not because it’s fancy by any means, but rather because it is one of only two bars in the city of Diamond Bar. Once you walk in here, the first thing you think to yourself is ‘Man, this place probably hasn’t had any renovations in over 30 years.’ That’s probably because it’s true! Anyways, once you start frequenting this place, you notice the same people and the same stories begin to circle around. You hear about so and so’s golf game, someone fixing their plumbing, someone playing the resident trivia game, someone talking about how many women he’s been with lately, someone talking about their favorite sports team, etc. etc. etc. You then think to yourself, ‘Man, what did I do to get myself in here?’ But, in reality, isn’t that what people talk about at any bar, sportsbar, restaurant bar, etc? Yes, and thus it isn’t that lowly of a place. Now, on to the drinks. They are cheap, extremely cheap. There are weekly specials on a certain mixed drink that will cost you $ 2.50 each. This could be a screwdriver, cranberry vodka, margarita, etc. The people who work there are all extremely friendly, so that is never a knock on the place. I rated this place a 4 because it’s always a fun time but it is your local hangout and will never compete with higher end places where drinks cost more and the food is better. I will, however, leave you with a fantastic story to wrap all this up… You are going to get a kick out of this. There is a guy at the bar who looks like Lou Diamond Phillips, who goes by the nickname Zeus. On Saturday night, after the place had closed, the owner got a call from his alarm company letting him know that the alarm went off. He got up out of his bed and went to the bar himself, but told the alarm company to not call the cops because, more often than not, one of the after-hours janitors left the door ajar or something to that affect.(They have a janitorial service that comes in every night between 2−3am to clean the place up.) So when the owner gets there, he notices that all the doors were perfectly closed and none of the janitorial staff was there. So, by himself, he walks around the entire place and finds nothing suspicious. Nothing had been stolen, broken, out of place, etc. A few days later, on Tuesday of this week, he finally gets access to the surveillance video from the weekend. He is sitting in his office and he sees this little man walking around the place in the video and low and behold, it is this Lou Diamond lookalike. He has been staying upstairs inside the bar for god knows how long. He was caught walking around the bar and bowling alley in the middle of the night on the video!!! In case you were wondering, he would stay upstairs in some hidden area until people started coming into the bar and then he would come down acting as if he had been there for a while and went upstairs to just check it out. Basically he would just try to fit in without anyone knowing he had been there the whole night. That same day they saw the video, Lou Diamond came in for a beer. One of the waitresses told him that they are not going to press charges for breaking and entering or trespassing but he is no longer welcome in the bar, bowling alley or parking lot. There you have it, the oak never ceasing to amaze us.

Wow, only one person reviewed this place. Come on people… before Chili’s opened up, where else could you sit at a bar, relatively late, and have a sippy sippy of your favorite drink? Sure it’s on the way east end of DB, but the drinks are cheap, they got some decent beers on tap, and pool tables and a juke box to let you strut along to dancing days while you show off your pool game

Ok… I’m in Diamond Bar, visiting my folks and the game is on… where do I go??? Of course I roll down Diamond Bar Blvd to the Sports Bar(or as we lovingly refer to it, «The Diamond Bar Bar») Standard Bar with a couple pool tables and the mandatory Ms Pac Man video game. I rarely get to roll through, but when I do I always have a good time.(Word to the wise, police officers hang out on in the parking lot waiting to bust you for a DUI, trust me on this one.)
