History

Established in 1990.

Dr. Nelson has been in practice now for 25 years. He had an office in City of Industry then relocated to Diamond Bar where he has been for the last 15 years. We treat all kinds of patients from Athletes to pregnant women, and also children. We are involved with our community giving lectures at the Diamond Bar Center, and doing sports physicals for Diamond Bar Pop Warner every year. We also are a Wellness Center specializing in nutrition and exercise.

Dr. Nelson provides excellent, personalized adult and pediatric chiropractic care utilizing state of the art technology and self help information. He has also worked with several professional, Olympic, collegiate and high school athletes in their pursuit to achieve their optimal performance. In 2007 was voted Best Chiropractor for Best in LA. TV show. In 2009 voted Top Doc in the Inland Empire, and in 2012 Best Chiropractor, Daily Bulletin Reader’s Choice. In 2007 was a finisher in an Iron Man Triathlon In Coeur D’Alene, ID.

Has a B.S. degree with distinguished honors from Northern Arizona University and gratuated from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in 1990.

I have been coming to see Dr. Nelson for five weeks now with incredible results! When I began, I could not walk without shooting pain. Today, the pain is gone. Also, I believed I would need surgery to remove a disc in my neck due to a pinched nerve. Dr. Nelson is teaching me a different, natural way to heal without a scalpel!

After being misdiagnosed at Kaiser, Dr Nelson knew exactly what was wrong with me just by shaking my hand. Literally! Of course he did x-rays and a full exam to be sure. But he knew. He treated me for a while and helped me get back on track. My family and I have been seeing him about 7 or 8 years now (as needed). He’s also now the doctor for our Pop Warner organization too. Highly recommend!

Let’s be clear. Chiropractic has a long history of controversy. Yet today many HMOs incorporate it into their plans. Probably because it has some value.
Dr. Nelson is not just a chiropractor. He’s an advocate for healthy eating and healthy living. Combining chiropractic adjustments with a healthy living and eating plan has gone a long way to making and keeping me more flexible in spite of the arthritis that is beginning to affect me as I age.
I plan to remain physically active for many years to come and am confident that by maintaining regular chiropractic visits and following Dr. Nelson’s healthy living advice, that I will be able to maintain that flexibility for many years to come.
One usually visits a chiropractor when there’s a problem. Once the problem is fixed keeping chiropractric as part of a healthy life style is really important. Dr. Nelson believs that, and so do I.

Dr. Nelson really helped me out. I had a pinched nerve running to my shoulder and couldnot even lift my arm. After following his advice of three appointments a week for 4 weeks pain was gone and full motion was restored. I continue to see him once amonth to keep my moving as i have back spasms as well. He always considers your personnel situation so be open with him and you will be very satisfied.

I learned some things from my 2 visits here. But unfortunately, I got the sense that money is much more important than providing good healthcare. I was very disappointed when he told me that in the next 7 months I «have to come in for 43 times» for adjustment. He said he’s been adjusted 4,000+ times, but is that natural? I think doing yoga is a more natural thing. Doing exercise. And possibly seeing a chiropractor for no more than a month at max, or only when there is a problem. Also, he seemed to be using the same dirty towel on different patients. And I don’t think he was putting any paper on the adjustment table for good hygiene. So that was a concern that I’m getting germs from other patients. That paper and clean towels don’t cost much. I’m willing to pay $ 2 extra for them.
