Kung Fu San Soo is considered, by many, to be the most sophisticated and complete form of martial art in existence today. Taught by first generation Master Raul Ries and Master Michael Falabella, the classes consist of men and women (ages 14 years old and up), with a heavy emphasis on confidence, morals, values and hand-to-hand combat as it was originally taught by Grandmaster Jimmy H. Woo (Lo Sifu Chin Siu Dek).
In addition to the fighting techniques learned in San Soo, the student learns agility, balance, coordination, humility and respect for human life.
Classes are held on Monday and Thursday evenings from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM in the fellowship hall of Calvary Chapel Golden Springs in Diamond Bar.
We invite you to come and observe a class at your convenience. You can obtain additional information on Master Ries, his studio and Master Michael Falabella by visiting the website at www.sansoodiamondbar.com or call the studio at 909−396−1884 EXT 557.

Prior to Master Raul Ries’ training in Kung Fu San Soo, he was already a feared opponent. At Baldwin Park High School, he was known as a troublemaker and feared by many students. While many might think it foolish to teach such an angry young man such a lethal art, Grandmaster Jimmy H. Woo saw an opportunity to harness that anger into a more manageable form. Raul began training with Lo Si Fu in 1965, but his training was interrupted by his Tour of Duty in Vietnam. After his discharge, Raul returned to Lo Si Fu’s studio and began training in earnest. In January of 1980, Raul received his Masters in San Soo Kung Fu from Lo Si Fu. As a San Soo Master, member of the Martial Arts Hall of Fame and the Pastor of Calvary Chapel Golden Springs his reputation has opened many unlikely doors for him to share the Gospel. He has been invited by government officials in South America, South Africa and the United States to address their military and police force in the art of San Soo.
