We purchased our Bali trip packages through LivingSocial with Globotours. We were very skeptical with the deal at first since the price was almost like «too good to be true». We just came back from the trip and would like to share my exceptional experience. The two beautiful hotels we stayed at were like 5-​stars, daily breakfast and a local tour were included in the package and we had a great experience. All the flight transfers and local transportation were arranged and we did not have any issues at all.
Before I purchase the vouchers from LivingSocial, I contacted Globotours to check on the available dates, Ning was very responsive and helpful.
I would definitely use Globotours again.

BEST TRIP EVER! This was the first time I have ever used a travel service and I am so glad I did. I went to Bali and had an amazing time. I am so glad we had service to and from the airport, trying to drive to a hotel 1.5 hours away from the airport after 30 hours of traveling would have been a nightmare. Ning was so helpful, even while I was on my trip 15 hours ahead she was there for me when I had a question. The hotels and locations were a dream and you could not beat the price (I tried)! Thank you so much for your excellent service, I will be using you again in the future!

We did the living social trip to the Alila hotels in Manggis and Ubud in Bali with Globotours. I was nervous as this was the first time I took a package tour. They put on us Singapore Airlines, which is comparable to Air France in terms of excellent service, maybe even better! Coming from the west coast, we did have an 8 hour lay over in the Singapore airport on the way back, but you can shop or you can stay in the in-​airport hotel if that happens (it’s probably the best airport in the world to be stuck in for that long). The hotels in Bali were very nice, the rooms were much nicer than I probably would have booked on my own. We were connected with a great local tour company, and Sam was a great guide that we also hired for one of our ‘on your own’ days. I would recommend this package to a friend that wanted to explore central and eastern Bali with little need for doing your own planning! It also keeps you out of Kuta, which is overrun with tourists, but it still gives you the coastal experience around Manggis. FYI, Manggis does not have white beaches due to some unfortunate infrastructure planning and beach erosion, but you can hire a car to take you to nearby sand beaches if you want that experience.

We had a dream trip for our family booked with Globotours and were heart broken when we had to cancel unexpectedly. Globotours was very supportive and even promised a discount on a future trip. Unfortunately, personal and medical issues prevented this from happening for a very long time. We were overjoyed and very impressed, when after many years we were finally able to rebook and Globotours not only remembered us but applied the discount promised. Greatly appreciated and we continue to recommend them to family and friends!

What happened?
I read all 6 of these good reviews for this company and then tried to book with them. It was a nightmare! I don’t know what happened to the customer service everyone else is talking about but I assume it is a thing of the past since the last review is a year and a half old.
I sent 3 emails asking questions and was told in my response to the first one to go to the website for more information. I WAS OBVIOUSLY ALREADY ON THE WEBSITE to get the basic package information. I thought it was perhaps a communication issue and tried again with very specific questions about dates, times accommodations, etc. They replied with a copied and pasted list of flight times for May when I asked to book in March. They again did not answer all my questions. I tried a third time and felt completely blown off with their response to again go to the website. RIDICULOUS. I explained to them that if they refuse to help me before I book, I can’t imagine how they would treat me AFTER I give them my money! So disappointed in this company :(
Of course it’s only after the fact that I see lawsuits have been filed against them for misrepresentation and they have complaints with the BBB. I do not recommend this company.

We took a chance on booking a trip to Dubai and the Maldives through Globotours. We usually arrange our own tours. Overall, we were super pleased. The hotels and resort were as described. We had great seats on the plane (up front, economy). People met us when they were supposed to in terms of transfers, and everyone was quite professional. Rosana was extremely responsive every time we reached out to her. I would certainly recommend Globotours. One suggestion, though, is that we waited too long to get into our hotel room in Dubai. That may have been the fault of the hotel, but if there’s a way for Globotours to help out on their end, it would be beneficial to future travelers. THANK YOU, Rosana and Globotours!

I am writing to provide the highest recommendation for Globotours. My husband and I purchased a LivingSocial trip to Thailand through Globotours. The trip was 8 nights – 4 in Bangkok and 4 in Phuket. From the beginning, Rosana from Globotours answered all of the questions we had about the trip (prior to purchasing). She was always available by telephone and very quick to respond to emails. They arranged our flights through Singapore Air (fantastic airline service, by the way!) and sent us our confirmations the day we booked. The hotels we stayed at (Sukothai in Bangkok and Laguna Angsana in Phuket) were of the highest quality (before booking I checked the reviews for these hotels and they were two of the highest ranked hotels so I expected greatness and they definitely served it!) We are so thankful that we took a chance and purchased their promotion because this has been the most amazing vacation ever (we rode elephants, fed monkeys on an island, petted tigers, visited night markets, went to the floating market, snorkeled on Phi Phi Island, canoed at James Bond Island, watched monks performing their chants, visited multiple temples, walked beaches, explored the cities, and enjoyed delicious Thai food). Seriously, the things we got to do were once in a lifetime and we would not have been able to make it happen without Globotours. We are looking to use them again for trips to Japan and China. I 110% trust their service! PS: while on the trip we met two other couples who had purchased the same deal with Globotours and we spent a lot of time with them. They were also more than satisfied with this trip!

I recently used Globotours to book my honeymoon to Thailand and Singapore. They have great customer service and are very professional. All of the hotels and tour guides in Thailand were amazing!!! Thank you!!!

I traveled to Tokyo with these guys and we had a wonderful time. Everything worked out perfecto and it was easy-​peasy to find our way to the airport transfer. all the staff, both at the hotel and the bus service were very helpful.
The hotel room was very comfortable and spotless. Our morning tour of the city was informative and gave us a good view of tokyo even if the weather didn’t cooperate for the Mt. Fuji tour but we enjoyed it.
Overall it was a good experience and my gf wants to thank you for all you hard work in putting our trip together. Where already eyeing our next tour, Bali anyone?

When I first thought about doing a trip I was nervous but thanks to Globotours, I didn’t have a care in the world.
The trip was truly fantastic! The hotels were all excellent and centrally located especially the one in Bangkok next to the river and a skytrain station, with incredible service, very nice rooms especially the one at the Ritz Carlton Singapore and excellent breakfast. A special mention for our guide in Bangkok… he was extremely nice and super helpful.
The coach transportation in Singapore was a bit inconvenient especially from the airport where we had to wait but it was okay. For Singapore Airlines, the service is still as good as I remembered. On the ground, we never had to queue to check in and had our luggage every time. The service is truly first class. The itinerary was a good combination of cities and destinations, each different with their own atmosphere. Bangkok was our favorite, a good balance between modern and traditional.
Can’t wait to go back… as soon as I can afford it again: p

i just got back from my trip to HK and i gata say HECK YEAH!!! This is the spot to plan your vacation– the whole staff is super helpful and four of us saved money big time by booking all at the same time.
They arranged every little last thing for us. it was our first time to HK and Macau and we had an amazing time especially since Macau is a gambling town like Vegas.
FIVE STARS ALL THE WAY! I highly recommend them and i can’t say enough about my trip: D

I should’ve used Expedia, Travelocity, Priceline. I would have probably saved more time and gotten what I wanted.
Just got back from a Honeymoon booked for us by Globotours.
The booking experience was a bit of a mess, but part of it had to do with my specific Hotel requests and departure dates changes. To make a long story short, there were over 40 emails back and forth and multiple phone conversations before we got something planned. In my opinion, still too much back and forth for the amount of request made.
First stop on the trip, we checked in and was surprised by the two single beds in the room. I wasn’t expecting to receive upgrades just because it was our honeymoon, but I figured the rep we worked with at Globotours would at least book us a double. We ended up having to upgrade and paying an additional money.
The second stop on our honeymoon had a tour guide picking us up from the airport. Immediately, we were presented with up-​sell information from the ride at the airport to the hotel. We didn’t bite on any of the deals presented and in fact, received better deals through the hotel concierge.
Only nice thing about the booking was the arranged trips from the airport to the hotel and the arranged trips back to the airport. If you have the time– plan using someone else.
