good service, good food, good price. good parking. too bad they closes too early, 7pm everyday is unacceptable, but that’s not their fault. So I think they still deserves 5 stars. Keep it up

This little gem took me back to Korea for a split second! Located in the food court of Diamond Bar’s H Mart, they sell a variety of different kimbap, oden, and ddukbokki! The oden is served in paper cups like on the streets of Seoul, it felt so nostalgic and tasted on point too. The ddukbokki was a little spicy and a little undercooked but the portion for $ 5 was a lot! I think the small cup for $ 3 is enough to fill me up for a meal! They pack it to the brim too. The oden soup is theeeee besttttt quick comfort soup for the tummy on a warm day. Honestly, even on hot days, if I’m craving some Korean snackage I’d come here. I’ll be back to try the kimbaps, because they look soooo good!

Love picking up lunch here. Located in H Mart food court its a perfect place to get some rolls. I recently tried the spicy garlic fried chicken… bomb. It takes a min to make since they make each order to order. I say put in your order do some quick shopping in the market and it will be ready by the time you need to check out. Pricing is really reasonable and there are a bunch of different rolls to chose from or box sets if you are really hungry.

Love this place! This was my first time having kimbap. It’s located inside H Mart. It’s very reasonably priced and a good light meal. Glad I found a new place I could grab a quick lunch.

This has been my go-to place after church service. I literally come here every Sunday. I LOVE their kimbap. I highly recommend the burdock kimbap. You should’ve seen my face when I grabbed the beef on accident once and didn’t realize my mistake until I took s bite. Beef was too dry. Another must-try item is their garlic soy sauce fried chicken. Thank me later. On a cold day or when you’re sick, the fish cake and soup help. Cheap and hot. Nothing fancy. I’m not a fan of their spicy rice cake. Meh. Can skip. After your meal, go get a fish snack on your way out of the market. You’ll walk out on a cloud nine.

Been here more than a dozen times for their chicken wings and fried squid. What can I say… well delicious every single time! I love places that serve consistently good food. They also cater. My hubby is always in need of good catering. I will definitely recommend Awoolim.

Awoolim is perfect for a quick snack, lunch, or dinner! Located inside of H mart, towards the very end. BBQ Beef Kimbap($ 6): About 20 pieces for $ 6?! Unheard of. I asked for soy sauce before leaving and the guy behind the counter looked confused and said it was already salty enough. oops(too AZN for my own good). Flavor wasn’t bad for the price. The kimbap is stuffed with meat, egg, cucumber, pickled veggies, shredded carrots, and rice. Brother was upset I didn’t bring back any fermented rice drink when he heard I stopped by. Oops. I did it again.

Went to Hmart to shopping with my mum, and she was like hey these sushi looked good lol! We bought a pack of BBQ beef kimbap. $ 6 dor 20 decent size of kimnbaps. I think the price was reasonable. From the appearence, the kimbap looked clean and nicely wrapped. The seaweed didn’t look too oily as well. You don’t have to worry about the kimbap falling apart because it is so nicely wrapped that, when you bite, the other half stays perfectly still(maybe a little beef crumbs come off). The workers absolutely do a good job wrapping them. In term of the taste, the flavor wasn’t too salty like other kimbap, and there were a variety of veggies(broccoli, carrot…). The flavor was balanced between the veggies and the meat. The main point was the the kimbap was not too oily so you would not fedl greasy at all. One thing I would pick on was the driness of the meat because they probably kept it for awhile in the fridge already. The meat fell apart pretty easily. Nonetheless, it was good after all. I ended up buying two more packs when I left the market because it was goodd! I give it a 4 stars because it was worth the price and the taste!

Great kimbap & double fried chicken!!! 10pcs for $ 7.50. Both the Soy Sauce & Spicy marinades are good. The Spicy is really spicy so watch out for those that can’t hang. If you put Sriracha on everything, then you’re good to go.

Love this stuff. I usually get the combo. I like the beef. Good for lunch or snack for work. It’s like sushi but without the raw seafood.

This place is good. It tastes good but the reason why 4 start as opposed to 5 is their pricing. The pricing is bit hefty.

This Awoolim Kimbap Factory is located inside of H Mart. I am so in LOVE with their chicken wings, every time I come to H Mart for some grocery shopping I can’t help but stop by for some wings in the Soy Garlic sauce. 10 wings for only $ 8 bucks is such a steal compared to many other Korean Fried Chicken places. The wings are pretty crunchy and is drenched in sauce topped with some sesame seeds. So give it a try if you’re a big fan of Korean chicken wings.

Awoolim is still my go to spot for kimbap. However, the last few visits weren’t very welcoming. The service has become rude, so rude that I opted out and decided to eat something else at the food court today. Why do I have to feel nervous when I’m ordering? A few months ago, we ordered a catering tray. The order was placed and paid for a few days in advance. On the day of the pick up, they were unaware of the order. I even showed them the receipt. We had to wait 20 minutes for them to whip up the order which was fine BUT they weren’t apologetic and made it seem like I was a thief and liar. Also, the fish cake is a hit or miss. It can be mushy sometimes. On a good day, it’s delicious.

I forgot to take pictures of the trays! but they were beautiful. PIcked them up right on time and the worker helped me load them into the shopping cart. The california rolls were pretty and perfectly aligned. It came with a container of wasabi and ginger. I would normally ask for more ginger, but my guests don’t really eat ginger. I think they;ll give soy sauce if you ask, but I had it at home already. The beef and fish cake kimbap were good as well. Very happy with their catering. Total was $ 111 for 70 Pieces Beef, 70 Fish Cake and 96 California rolls.

We specifically come here for the Salmon Skin Roll. So delicious, but they sell out fairly quick, so make sure to come early. Alert! They have now added chicken wings. Similar to Kyo Chon. If you don’t want to drive far for Kyo Chon Chicken I would suggest you try Awoolim’s Chicken Wings. I’m not sure if they is going to be put on their menu permanently.

I feel like I’ve struck gold. It’s literally a kimbap heaven in here. There’s tons of different kimbaps to buy, so have fun experimenting which one you will enjoy. My personal favorite is the cheese kimbap. It sounds disgusting, but it’s hella good. I like how it doesn’t have that disgusting Korean minty leaf called ggetnip or whatever you call it. I also like the BBQ beef kimbap. I don’t like eating beef or spinach inside kimbap, but Awoolim proved me wrong. The beef tastes sweet and smoky… just the way I like it. The ddukbokki was surprisingly good. I don’t like eating spicy food, but the level of spiciness was just right for me. Not too spicy with a bit of tanginess in it. The dduk was soft and chewy. After feasting on all the yummy goodness, flush it all down with a shikhye slush. It can be too sweet, so your best bet would be to order a small if you’re health conscious. Nobody wants to board the train to Diabetes Town. Dx Service is pretty friendly here which makes me want to come back from time to time. I mean… nobody wants to deal with an asshole, right? Take home message? This is my go-to spot whenever I’m craving kimbap… which is like always. :P I’m the pickiest eater alive, but I recommend this kimbap factory to everybody.

I came here for lunch the other day before shopping at H-Mart. I got the bigger Kimbap bento box. It came with 4 different types of Kimbap, 4 pieces of California Roll, 3 pieces of Inari Sushi, and a decent serving of Spicy Squid. The Kimbap is all freshly made and packaged. They were all really good and flavorful. The California Roll was like any other California Roll I’ve tried. The Inari Sushi was really good, sweeter than ones I’ve had in the past. The Spicy Squid was tougher and chewier than I thought it would be, but very tasty still. For $ 11.50, cannot really complain. I even had leftovers!

— Locale Destination — It’s on S Diamond Bar Blvd and Cold Spring Ln in Diamond Bar. It’s in a big shopping center, at the food court of «H mart»(korean supermarket), next to «Melt». Ambiance: They got a small section at the food court. Communal seating for all the tenants there. Service: Friendly Payment: $ 0.25 charge for under $ 4.50 credit card usage. Bathroom: Communal one for the market — it’s dirty. Parking: Plenty Menu: Cut rolls, some appetizers(spicy rice cake, oden, tempra etc.), and drinks. Cut rolls have varieties — BBQ beef, fish cake, tuna, vegetable etc. Burdock is «gobo» in Japanese. — Gluttony Expedition — Fermented rice slushy: OMG. I don’t know why people like this overly sweetened syrupy rice slushy. It’s just way too sweet and I felt like sipping sugar syrup. I tossed it after one sip(I got the sample). You’ll love it if you love OVER-SWEET. Just terrible. Fish cake kimbap: Kinda sweet fish cake is in the cut roll with vegetables. Meh. BBQ beef kimbap: Kinda sweet ground meat is in the cut roll with vegetables. Better than fish cake one but nothing brag about. — Conqueror’s Deduction — I think it’s waaaaaay overrated. Nothing awesome about this. $ 5 – 6 for not so impressive Korean sushi rolls, though they have wide varieties(which you don’t see much in general). They could be a little cheaper than that.
