Moore Tutoring specializes in one-​on-​one tutoring of students that need help in understanding math and chemistry subjects. Students range in age including those attending middle school, high school, and college.

History

Established in 2006.

What started out as a part time adventure after I retired has turned into at times, more than a full time job. Over the past five years I have worked with more than 100 students helping them build their confidence; improve their grades; and more importantly build their self-​esteem.

Business Owner

I am a retired scientist and businessman that has a love for tutoring students.

I was brought up in the Boston area and got my undergraduate degree cum laude from Northeastern University. Worked at Polaroid Corp as a analytical chemist, senior engineer and research scientitst. In the early 1980’s I moved to the San Francisco Peninsula where I started a real estate business in Los Altos, retiring 20 years later. Since then I have spent most of my free time tutoring students of all ages in math and chemistry.

I have two grown daughters, two grand-​sons and a newborn grand-​daugther that unfortunately do not live locally.
