Pretty good for breakfast and not so bad for the wallet as far as airport food goes. I had the omelette platter for $ 3.99, it was actually really good, and decent coffee.

Not many choices in this area of DFW, stopped here early AM, as my other choice was the Burger King etc. Not on the menu, but asked and they prepared, a veggie omelette to order. Ala carte it was 3.99. Great job, very friendly staff. Yes I did write 3.99, bell pepper, onion, tomato, cheese and jalapeño. Boom.

Flying out of Terminal E and wanting something other than the usual fast food for breakfast. Found this little jem across from gate 6. Wonderful breakfast tacos, very fresh and made on the spot. Reasonably priced for airport food. Coffee was good too! Wish I could have tried a bloody mary.

Food mall court hell, if anything, dampens the comforts of airport drinking, but perhaps somehow magically enhances the experience in a kitschy, raw and obnoxious way. After getting strip searched by TSA, I needed a drink without question. Pizza pub’s 2nd world lack of coziness, and annoying bright fluorescent lighting was a turn off but with time restraints, and the need for a second drink near my gate, brought me to this no thrills bad taco stand slash bar. The bartender was sour and formidable, if a dumpy personality, where an inquiry over a wine selection became a battle of wits. Don’t try and chump me haas — just tell me what’s good. The two vines Merlot wasn’t close too bad($ 10), it was definitely drinkable, and the surly bartender at least offered me an extension cord to charge my phone. The food here looked bad American mall pizza, but I got a buzz and the bartender gave me space so I was happy. Take the skytram to the other end of terminal E where there is blue Mesa, and tgif.

Located at E5, I got a slice of breakfast pizza. It was good, great crust, but no sauce(not sure why some places think sauce isn’t for breakfast, but it definitely IS!). At $ 4, it’s typical airport value. I got the last slice at 830am, was told they had to get ready for lunch. Sorry if you show up at 845 and expect a slice of breakfast pizza. It’s all about them, not the customer wanting breakfast pizza.
